Looks good & adds a nice touch! FYI - when you have your wheels off, it's a good time to spray your fender wells & they will like new again! Just use some black trim & bumper spray paint.

Likely because of price. I guess floating calipers on the rear are good enough. That being said, the performance package is a deal and would have made it slightly more expensive. Plus room to get the GT350 which has fixed rear calipers.

Always: Torque the wheel lugs in pattern including the lock nut. Its a performance car. If u drive it hard w brakes, that metal heats up and can cause a warp. Small risk and insignificant in a regular car but with this type, always torque.

I too really like the G2 caliper paint. I’ve used it on a few cars and even used leftovers on some metal artwork. It’s tuff as nails! Go job, that the way I do it too.

Yea, I think he wanted it to be a quick job. I'm doing mine in a couple weeks. But I'll be completely removing the calipers and using primer, spray paint and clear coat spray...with a new decal.

Rush, Save yourself some wear n tear. Get a Harbor freight 29gal. air compressor with a 50ft retractable air hose n 1/2 inch impact wrench all for less than $500. You deserve it Bro!! Good video as always!!!

I think I like your method better. It's slower, but you don't have to worry about rattle can fallout. I have a black Mustang and I'm going to paint mine black and put the red brembo decal on it. Good video.

I find it takes less time to bag and tape everything up and spray it than to use a brush. Not to mention a much better end result

This pint is special made for calipers specifically. It lasts 10+ years. Any other pint is only 3 years too in a car that is driven hard. I used engine enamel paint the first time and it looks great but doesn’t last. My calipers have 11,000 miles and 2.5 years and are perfect still and look like factory red gt350 calipers.

Great Video and thanks for explaining everything. I own a 2013 "Got to have it" green Mustang. Do you think the orange/red paint would be too much color ? Should I match the brakes to the car color ? i did buy the Cervini Window scoops and bought all the paint through Amazon. people are always commenting on the car "Saying "Beautiful' or 'Wow...Nice car". I am 63 and have always driven a Z28 or Trans Am when Iwas younger. I wish my wife showed some interest. She tells me this will be my last car. Hell my dad lived to be 93 and drove an 85 Monte Carlo SS. I told her this isn't my last car ! Like Abe Vigoda would say" I 'm not dead yet " !!!!

Standard brakes are more than enough. If you track your car, or want the additional benefits of the performance package, get the brembo's. That being said, the stock 4 piston calipers are really impressive fixed calipers, and are on par with the 4 piston brembo's of the gt500 from 2013-2014. They hold up well on my canyon runs about 30-45 minutes. Just do pads and fluid. But then again, the performance package is a steal. So your call.

That looks super nice! Nice wheels too. I painted mine red on my 2007 red vette, but in a year they looked dull, so I found some high temp clear gloss and applied that to them, they shine real nice now. I’m thinking of blue for my red Cadillac xt6. Any thoughts on that combo? Merry Christmas
