As someone in the law field, I really feel like Russell wrote this himself...it really doesn’t seem like it was written by an attorney, or at least a competent attorney. If he did in fact have an attorney write this, no one should ever use that attorney EVER because the writing is just so poor quality and quite unclear with a number of simple errors. I legit think Russell found a template online for a cease and desist letter and used that.

She is entitled to her opinion and to voice it. But, she has to say "This Is My Opinion" or "allegedly". Not state it as fact. Those words being omitted or added are the difference between legal and breaking the law . She could be held liable for damages and sued for defamation. It's really not that hard to include those words. I hope she does, as I really like her & her channel. I would hate to see her get sued just because she didn't include those few words.

A 10 sec disclaimer at the beginning saying the vid is for entertainment purposes only and based solely on her opinion would cover her. Then if she frames something as fact like- these men were scammed, it needs to be followed with an "allegedly". You can speak freely and shout your opinion from the rooftops. But just those few words omitted change it from opinion, to fact and that can = legal recourse. Look at the Tati Westbrook vs. WOACB lawsuit. WOACB did a ton of vids on Tati and her hubby. She spoke of everything as it was fact. She saw that other creators were saying the same things about Tati, but they included those few VERY important words-"In My Opinion & Allegedly ". Interacting with neurotypicals and ableds exclusively wears you down because you're always told you're the one that's broken no matter how horribly they treat you. Not that there aren't predatory people in our community too. But there isn't the power differential that you get between a nondisabled/neurotypical person and a disabled/neurodivergent one.

We all have to function inside societal conventions and cultural norms for at least some parts of our lives, and that can be really fucking difficult. If that isn't the case for you, great. Still, no one can really speak for the entirety of 'neurodivergent' entities, it is such a broad spectrum, you can really only speak to the differences you have some experience with. I also think it is odd that you chastise me for using the word can't, but you were actually the only one used it- and you were right. Some of us are great at masking, some of us can pass when we need to, and some CAN'T. You talk about "psychological/emotional strain or physical discomfort" and hello... those are struggles, no matter how wordy you want to be about it.
