yes, its the camera making the blue lights flash. I usually use this for making coffee or tea and I don't need much water anyway. The water is so clean I'm pleased I bought it.

This kettle(i have had mine 4 months)is fast boiling and generally very good. The down sides though are it boils very little water,also if you fill the top too much water leaks through some small holes at the top and into the bottom half,hence contaminating your filtered water. Those are my only complaints.

The Brita filter cartridge is made of plastic; I doubt it is BPA-free. You may be getting filtered water, but subjecting that plastic cartridge to heat every time your boil water is not a good idea for your daily cuppa. But that's just my opinion.

i have one , but unfortunately it was a piece of crap , it can boil only 1 liter of water , an after few days from kettle occur a water leaking from bottom :( .... but i appreciate a very clean water from of brita filter.

My kettle is no problem, no leaking. you should return it to the shop or exchange for new one.

Look on Amazon, you will see that they have been known to short out and catch fire.
