It is so disrespectful for anyone to claim Russell Wilson is not a all time great QB after just 7 years and this stat backs up my claim. In 7 years and 125 regular season and postseason games, Russell Wilson has accounted for 237 TDs either by passing (217), rushing (19) and receiving (1). Do the math, that's 33.9 TDs per season he gives Seattle. Now let's do the math on these top QBs in his era after 7 years (including postseason games) and how they compared to Wilson. (1) Tom Brady after 7 years had 172 TDs-24.6 per season. (2) Aaron Rodgers after 7 years had 166 TDs-23.7 per season. (3) Drew Brees after 7 years had 144 TDs-20.6 per season. (4) Phillip Rivers after 7 years had 146 TDs-20.9 per season. (5) Ben Roethlisberger after 7 years had 180 TDs-25.7 per season. (6) Matt Ryan after 7 years had 195 TDs-27.9 per season. (7) Eli Manning after 7 years had 167 TDs-23.9 per season. (8) Matt Stafford after 7 years had 179 TDs-26.6 per season. (9) Cam Newton after 7 years had 229 TDs-32.7 per season. He was the only one drafted in this era remotely close to Wilson. (10) Tony Romo after 7 years had 125 TDs-17.9 per season. (11) Carson Palmer after 7 years had 134 TDs-19.1 per season. 4 of these QBs were No.1 overall picks and 4 others were first round picks and another was a second round pick. Only Romo and Brady were selected lower than Wilson was in 2012. And all of these guys were called ELITE and Wilson, ``A Game Manager'' that was ``CARRIED'' by Lynch and his defense. To show how great these numbers were, Peyton Manning after 7 years had 241 TDs-34.4 per season. Dan Marino after 7 years had 239 TDs-34.1 per season. So a 3rd round pick in the same amount of time with inferior talent than Manning had his first 7 seasons (HOF players Faulk, Harrison and HOF nominees James and Wayne) accounted for just 4 less TDs than the one many called a all time great? He had 2 less TDs than Marino-another all time great. Better than 5 overall No.1 picks plus if you add his stats for his career against other No.1 picks like Aikman, Elway, Vick, George, Bledsoe, Couch and Alex Smith, he easily blows them away. That's how dynamic Wilson's career has been so far.

When I saw those throws Russ was making against the cowboys it made me realize he can make any throw Aaron Rodgers Tom Brady and drew brees can. We really need to build the team around him he can be one of the greatest quarterbacks of all of time.

He’s already one of the greatest ever... dudes won almost every game he’s been in. Broke many many records, won a Super Bowl in just his 2nd season and went to another right after... dudes definitely gonna be in GOAT conversations when his career said and done
@cdc86995 жыл бұрын
CloutSteezo if we can build around him for next season and get him a elite o line he will break multiple more records he needs atleast 4 Super Bowl wins before he retires and shouldn’t be blamed for that super bowl 49.. it’s a team game

@@cdc8699 we have a really good offensive line i dont know why people keep dissing it. what we needed was a run game so that the defense wouldnt just have to account for russell because they knew we werent gonna run it. what we need now is a few more out right playmakers at any spot. some more elite talent like russell wilson and tyler lockett
@cdc86995 жыл бұрын
Soviet Dog we have good receivers and tight ends and running backs I still think we need to improve the o line because during the season when our starters got hurt like she fluker and sweezy it really hurt the o line because we needed more depth

Tate Hering : I thought he deserved it anyways. It’s not about the best numbers - which Russell’s were great anyways - but about the player most integral to his team’s success. I hate to break it to Chiefs fans, but even if Alex Smith had been the QB, the Chiefs would still have had a great run. It’s the second time Russell has been robbed of the MVP.

Hey I have an idea let’s actually draft O line men and not corners in the earlier rounds like every year. Give Russell a solid O line and see how that season goes.

we have a solid o-line

we just need some decent weapons in the secondary and the receiving core for wilson to be able to make even more clutchu plays. O-Line definitely has gotten better since the last two years.

Still can't believe,NFL athletes are blackballing Wilson in at #42/100 going into the '19 season. Who cares what they say? I personally do not GIF. Wilson's our qb qnd he is no doubt an ELITE qb who's been CONSISTENTLY successful in the NFL since "12." You cannot convince us,Matt Hasselbeck,Matt Flynn,T-Jack could lead Seattle to the postseason year in and year out. Matt Hasselbeck was okay. I lost faith in him at Lambeau with his infamous words of wisdom "We want the ball and we're going to score." Wasn't Seattle supposed to only win FOUR games in '18? Lol!!!! I'm predicting 9-12 (13) in '19 knocking off the Rams in the West like they did in '04. Nice video,bro!!!

The jealousy aimed at Russell Wilson. Consider these facts-he's never been voted a NFL Top 100 DESPITE: (1) Being one of 2 QBs with a winning record the last 7 years ( and 1 of 2 with a winning record away from home). (2) Set so many NFL passing records to name. (3) Won 4 ROY Awards in 2012. (4) Led NFL in yards per carry in 2014 (and was 3rd in 2015). (5) Led NFL in passing rating in 2015 (and was 3rd in 2018). (6) Led the NFL in TD passes in 2017 (and was 3rd in 2018) and led NFL in total TDs in 2017. (7) Won a SB. (8) Since he's been in the NFL, the only QBs in that span to apear in multiple SBs are him, Brady and Peyton Manning. (9) He's never missed a game in his career. (10) He's been a Pro Bowl MVP. (11) Only QB in NFL history that averegss or averaged over 25 TD passes and over 500 rushing yards a season. (12) The only QB that has had over 4000 passing yards, 500 rushing yards and over 30 TDs in a season and was 17 passing yards from doing it twice. Yet guys like Le'Veon Bell, Marshawn Lynch, Richard Sherman, Zeke Elliott, Julio Jones, Todd Gurley, Cam Newton, Khaliul Mack, Luke Kekecky, Carson Wentz, soon to be Patrick Mahomes and ODBJ have earned that honor with careers that don't even come close.
