Great tool Russell. I've already used it for tomorrow's lesson. Please, tell us the equivalent of the language levels. 2nd Grade = ?? 3rd Grade = ?? of CEFR. Thank you!!

Thank you for the kind words! I'm thrilled to hear you’re already using Diffit for tomorrow’s lesson. Regarding the equivalence of grade levels to CEFR levels, it's not a direct match since they measure different aspects of learning. However, here’s a rough comparison: 2nd Grade in terms of reading and writing might align with A1 (beginner level). 3rd Grade might progress towards A2, as students start to understand and produce simple, connected sentences.

This looks so useful Russell. I have just signed up and it is giving me free access to diffit for a couple of months. In terms of levels, woukd you say around 8th gade is equivalent to upper intermediate for ESOL?
@ttvRussell2 ай бұрын
Thank you so much for your support and for signing up! I'm glad you’re finding the tools useful. 😊 To answer your question: 8th grade level typically aligns with the upper intermediate level for ESOL learners, though it can vary depending on the learner's background. At this stage, learners usually have a strong grasp of basic grammar and vocabulary and are starting to engage with more complex texts and ideas. Let me know if you need help tailoring any resources to suit that level.

nope, Diffit is limited in terms of my overall teaching needs

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Diffit is designed to simplify some aspects of lesson planning, but it’s true that it might not cover every need. They're constantly working to improve and add new features, so if there's something specific you'd like to see, feel free to share!
