Russia detains another top general on bribery charges | BBC News

Another senior defence official in the Russian military has been arrested after being accused of taking a large bribe, Russian media has reported.
General Vadim Shamarin, the deputy chief of General Staff, has appeared in court and he's the fourth senior official to be arrested since April.
Earlier this month, President Vladimir Putin removed Sergei Shoigu as his defence minister, and replaced him with the former deputy prime minister, Andrei Belousov.
It was a move seen as an attempt by the Kremlin to boost the army's efficiency and tackle corruption.

That is such a funny comment becasue the USA always rules over Russia, when oil and gas is sold to China and India what do you think they do with it? Make goods for the West which is why Russia cannot do anything against western weapons sent to Ukraine. Russia depends on the west buying goods from India and China made from Russian export resources. It is the same for BRICS they all depends on the west buying goods from other countries made from BRICS export resources. It is all a big joke, they all say bad things about the west but they depend on the west to exist. It is like saying you hate so much becasue you depends 100% on them. It is very strange mentality to try and hide how much Russia depends on the west.
