In this episode of Head to Head , Mehdi Hasan talks to Natalia Narochnitskaya, a Russian historian and former member of the Duma, or Russian parliament, for the ultra-nationalist party Rodina (Motherland).
We discuss with her Russia's intervention in Syria and Ukraine and the annexation of the Crimean peninsula, and the consequences of these actions for its relationship with Western powers and NATO. We also discuss President Vladimir Putin's rule and examine the country's human rights record.

NATO poisoned Stanley Meyers and his brother is a witness. They intended to poison the brother with the same tea, but when Stanley took one first sip, he grabbed his neck and proclaimed "They poisoned me!" And he ran out , falling down dead in the restaurant parking lot. Why? He invented the fuel cell and in combination with a Fractal Gear device had a car which runs on a cup of water for a year.

I usually don't watch state-owned media because of the obvious conflicts of interest and biases and whatnot. However, Al Jazeera is a lot better at separating their views/opinions from truthful journalism. They aren't always perfect and not always without biased and you can always tell the Qatari view on every episode when watching this news network, but I honestly feel they are near the top of state-owned media. Like I said, I prefer private or public journalism. I do not like state-owned media generally. I'm actually a libertarian leaning person so me watching a state-owned news network is different. I can't stand RT news though, there biases are blatant and they lie and twist stories almost every single time. I truly respect Mehdi Hasan for his on his journalism. I mostly just watch the stories and debates that Mehdi Hasan is in. I feel as though he is the most honest and unbiased .

I think if the citizens of all countries could get rid of a large part of their Governments and talk as a people we would all be better off. I hear/read many comments from nations across the world on how they hate their current Government including the US. The Governments all use the same tactic, just in different ways. That tactic, FEAR!!! Fear and Religion are 2 of the main ways to control a large population. If there is nothing to fear, they (The Governing Body) will create something to fear, which has been proven many times throughout History. Why can't we all just get along?? ;)

Despite the woman's broken English I gather that she is saying that before ww2 the Soviet Union proposed a treaty to the "west" (supposedly France and the UK?) which involved protection of countries surrounding Germany. Is there anyone here who knows what treaties she is refering to? Another treaty, less flattering to Russia, comes to mind though. The treaty I am thinking about would be the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact with Germany to split eastern europe between them.

+abuaimen28 all nasty things you have mentioned comes from the terrorists. Saudi Arabia everyday barrel bombs schools, and hospital in Yaman but no one says anything. Im not taking anyone is side because I'm not Muslim, but Assad has right to defend his country. You said, in Bahrain innocent people do not suffer the way innocent people suffer in Syria and you came out with crazy figure. Have you ever asked yourself why is this happening? Before war started Syria, Syria was one the best country in the world but America didn't want them to grow rapidly and give free oil to America. Why do you think Saudi Arabia is a very close ally of America? Let me give the answer because your brain is not working, because Saudi Arabia feed America by oil, otherwise America treat those other Arabs.
@Mrmalistani

+abuaimen28 haha Saudi gives to its people more than Assad. Firstly women have not got right to do anything in Saudi Arabia. Secondly they behead 200 hundred people each year. Is that what the Saudi gives to its people more than Syria?
@ranapour
@ranapour 8 жыл бұрын
+abuaimen28 House of Al Saud does not treat their people better than House of Assad that is because West and Americans are not arming the opposition groups in Saudi. If they did you will know how they will be beheaded in Saudi cities. Problem in Syria is that Americans and West are arming groups opposing Assad. Assad is killing people who have taken arms against his regime. It is simple and every regime on earth would do exactly the same but America, whose Middle East policies are devised in Israel are pretending Assad is simply bombing his own people. Israel is the evil in Middle East and responsible (via the Israeli-American neocon)for Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and Syria.

I felt the US could have contributed more if she is not run after the economic benefits, if she is not run after the middle east oil... In the name of Human Right the US destroyed many nations where the people suffered 100 times more than the bring justice to the people... Hope and pray that the countries like Russia, US, China, etc should work together for the world peace.
