Russia ramps up hybrid war against Nato nations with GPS jamming and cyber attacks

Russia’s hybrid war against Nato member nations has ramped up since the start of the war in Ukraine, with so-called grey zone attacks like GPS jamming and cyber-attacks being the new frontline.
In Finland, the captain of a pilot boat navigating the country's southern coast filmed his radar screen to show the radio interference that he said left him without GPS for 90% of his trip - which the authorities say, is almost certainly Russian jamming in action.
Suspected Russian jamming is also targeting air transport across the Baltic States and other areas of Europe.

I bought a handheld GPS unit back in the late 80's, when the closest you could get was within 330 feet. When you're trying to find a portable deer stand that you put up during the night in a strange forest and the unit will only put you within a 660 foot circle of it, it's pretty much useless. I sold it and instead went back to trail markers, maps and my trusty lensatic compass that I was issued during my time in the Marine Corps. Even to this day I have a dash mounted compass in my all wheel drive Subaru Outback! A compass never wears out, needs no batteries and they can't be jammed!
