Creating a space junk graveyard, from attacking any object in orbit, would seem to be the threat here. A cascade of debris triggering wide scale satellite destruction is pretty serious, for everyone obviously. We should probably aid NASA/ESA etc so they can start the process of cleaning our orbital space before we have an attack in space from Russia?

Around @20:00 mark. The fact these people probably consume Netflix content and take it for truth tells us all we need to know. They probably watched the White Helmet documentary and thought it wasn't fiction.

Hit or miss. The Russians are a sneaky people with low morals. They would weaponize space.

How can one determine the difference between a direct ascent anti-satellite nuclear weapon and an ICBM? It seems like the lift capabilities of the former are a necessary requirement for the latter. I also wish Kari and Heather would have talked a bit about the military utility and limitations of such a weapon. As a layman, I'd guess that a warhead could disable a lot of LEO satellites at once, especially anything that passes through the van Allen belt, but how much damage they could cause way out at geosynchronous altitude where a lot of the "exquisites" live is less clear.

If they keep it to destroying satellites aiding Ukraine then it is fine, it is their right and I'd do the same if companies were aiding someone we were in conflict with. I have issues though if it takes out satellites not aiding Ukraine, as that is a hostile act. We know a major war would involve satellites being taken out.
