The Russian military destroyed another US-supplied M1 Abrams tank in the Donbas region, as per the Defence Ministry in Moscow. The tank was reportedly hit with a “first shot,” Russian media reported, citing a Russian military commander operating on the Avdiivka front. It was the third vehicle of the type to be knocked out by Russia in recent days, according to state media. The tank “was knocked out in one shot by the crew of a T-72 B3,” said Russian military officials.

T-72 knocked it out , you are correct cheap drones atm can destroy any tank in the world but this was allegedly a tank on tank kill ,very very rare in this conflict because of those drones but also Javalins. I believe they're will come a time sooner then later that vehicles are equipped with jammers strong enough to stop these cheap drones or perhaps another early warning system that detonated projectiles towards the drone at hundred + ft away , it may even be another smaller drone that would detonate next to other drones . The T72s main weapon is more than capable of taking out any western tank with one shot when using the correct ammunition, anyone who knows about tank capabilities knows this. The Abrams is similarly capable to do the same to the T72, its more to do with the circumstances and the quality of the crews. These aren't the vastly detracted T72s that they faced in Iraq. I am confident the upgraded T62s can do similar to any western tank. Western invulnerability propoganda is a total myth been perpetuated for the last 30 years

Yeah. I think the only reason we saw desert storm skew so majorly towards the coalition side was the absolutely horrendous state of Iraq’s crews and equipment, compared to the U.S. and other coalition armies with very well trained crews, much better equipment, and air support capable of clearing the entire country before tanks even land. No big surprise that when all that is stripped away from the Abrams, and they are pit against modern Russian tanks, they lose. That’s the major distinction. They are fighting U.S. equipment, not the u.s. itself.

By the way typically Russian weapons are either newer or used differently. Russians don't use the same old weapons that the USA uses - starting machine guns (M2 Browning from 1930s) to strategic missile carriers (the last B-52 was released in 1955).

Utes was discontinued in the 1990s and replaced by Kord machine gun, which, along with its weight of 25 kg, has less recoil than M-16 rifles. I think it’s ridiculous to consider M2 Browning next to modern weapons like a Kord. I think that only country that doesn't consider them “stealth” is Russia, because Russia is the parent of stealth technologies(notice the history) and knows all their advantages and disadvantages. Although the Serbs also didn’t notice anything like “stealth”, when they shot down the expensive invisible F-117 by Stalin-era air defense system.

Being a Brit I laughed rather darkly when I found out the MoD had to suck up it’s first ever, confirmed, Challenger 2 lost in battle to enemy action. It was one of the Unique Selling Points of the Chally 2. Non had ever being confirmed as killed battle by enemy action. There’s a famous story of a Chally 2 earthing itself in Iraq. Many tens of RPGs later and apparently all that the crew reported were some headaches and a couple electronic control panels shorted out and had to be put out. But the Chally basically withstood everything the enemy could throw at it in the form of infantry up close and personal. It was later recovered, serviced and back in action not much later. Yeah well that USP went up in smoke. Same with Abrams minus we never lost one to enemy action angle anyway. Now as for F16s. I have news for western warhawks. It was designed with air superiority assumed, failing that a less than patriot level of ground AA. MFW the Patriot system is comparable to S300 to 400 range but not what Russia has developed since. I am fairly confident in stating that F16s delivered to Ukraine, unless only deployed in the most ideal of circumstances, will fair far worse than Challenger 2s or Abrams. Much worse.

Russian tanks have abilities to shoot ATGMs from gun barrel. As for T-72B3M it uses ATGM Reflex-M (NATO's code name: AT-11 "Sniper"). Open sources say that it has max range 5 km. not 6. But who knows , maybe it can shoot at ranges longer that documented.
