@@brianhanley3649 you're missing my point and being dramatic while you're at it. The devil does indeed believe in God because he KNOWS God. The very point of his existence is to mar the glory of God. The point of my comment is that it is not enough to believe God is real (Sola fide), but to obey his (natural) law and commandments, which Lucifer does not do. So while the aforementioned notable persons allegedly believed in God, they are no closer to him than Satan himself should they refuse and work against His natural laws and commandments.
