Excellent 👏 one of the biggest mistakes I made when I was learning russian was to get a "degree" in russian grammar and can't speak 50 words because I didn't know but I knew every single grammar rule. Absolutely the worst way to learn any language. Language is a practical thing, you can learn grammar afterward.

I love Russian grammar. We are all different. I cannot speak without understanding the grammar. I have taken many courses with Daria. She is an exceptional teacher. I absolutely love the challenge of Russian grammar. We all learn differently. Enjoy your learning experience.

It won't harm to know the grammar rules, else you'd get confused with all those endings, that keep popping up in all kind of kontexts.

The word brat has occurs in both English and Russian but with entirely meanings in English an unruly child and in Russian brother. Likewise the word nosh occurs in English (slang food) and in Russian knife.

I recently stumbled on your channel , because my girlfriend is Russian and her mom doesn’t speak an ounce of English. So I want to be more involved in her life and communicate with her mom and other family members like her dad , because when I’m with them and she’s not there or her sisters as my translators, I’m basically in an awkward position with her folks 😂😂😂😂😂😂

i have a question you said when "O" is NOT stressed, is becomes "A" at 24:00 and 1 minute later at 25:15 you say port ( порт ) with a "O" - oh not Ah there is no stress on the o on screen so why do you say "port" and not "part" ? same thing for тост и тостер, why dont you say тaст ? there is no stress on тост.

"X" is the one letter that the majority of English speakers will mispronounce and it drives me nuts. They will drop the "h" off "kh" and just say the "k". It also seemed like quite a few of the "o" were not shown being stressed in the examples.
