Russian Demographic Crisis: Putin's Looks For Ways to Force Women Have More Kids

Putin again spoke about traditional family values and suggested that Russian women should have 8 children each. Increasing the birth rate is of great concern to the Russian authorities - the country is facing a demographic crisis. And the reasons for it are obvious - hundreds of thousands of dead in Russia's war against Ukraine, poverty, disenfranchisement and lack of prospects. But the Russian authorities do not want to solve these problems. What absurd bans and restrictions the Kremlin offers to make women give birth more - watch in our news story.

That is why the Russian birthrate is plummeting. Putin is not making the situation any better. He is likely to find that his injunctions to have more children will cause fewer births. Only women with husbands who are over mobilisation or recruitment age could afford, financially or philosophically, to consider having more children.

Reasons for low reproductive rate and demographics problem in Russia: young men being used as cannon fodder and dying in Ukraine (@350,000); emigration of a million plus young people into other countries who will never come back because of the war and intolerable situation in Russia; huge male alcoholism; low quality of men in general in regards to physical and mental issues and abusive personalities; poverty and lack of economic opportunities; huge expense in raising and having children even for cannon fodder; inequality and the patriarchy. Why would any woman want to have multiple children in such a draconian system?

Poor Russian Woman? This is a suggestion, not a law.. What would YOU do if there was a POPULATION CRISIS in YOUR Country for the last 30 years? Russian Women get: Human Resources Benefits Additional Per Child (Food Stamps, Cash Assistance, Rent Assistance). They get Maternity Leave for 6 months FULLY PAID, followed by 1/4 Pay for the next 2.5 years if the mother chooses to bond with her child instead of work. The father also gets 3 months Paternity Leave Fully Paid. Russian Women get to retire at 55! Instead of 65 (and for some, 67), in America (it used to be 50 in Russia up until recently, but that's still a decade difference). Russian's applying for Residency and Citizenship get more benefits than the illegals in NYC ($2,200 per person + $180 per child - and Mexican's have like 8 kids), NYC homeless rate for US Citizens increased (I see it on the Subway EVERYDAY to work, worse and worse), and Eric Adams just cut EVEN MORE funding (because of the "Mexican Refugee Crisis") to Education, Police, and Closure of Libraries (Search it up, was announced last week, if you don't believe me)... I sent my US born Fiancé to Russia in 2021 on purpose so that she wouldn't have to experience the hardships of raising a child in an American Metropolitan City... It's almost 2024, and she, despite coming not knowing the language, does NOT want to return to NYC ever again! This is not the first time, or the first regime that has done that. Prior to WW2 both Nazi Germany and Japan had a women's program to make them have as many kids as possible to raise up a generation of soldiers to fight the next war. I'm American and my Grandparents on Mom's side had 7 children. Mom + sibs grew up during The Great Depression and 3 of my Uncles fought in WW2. Out of the 7 kids one Aunt/Uncle also had 7 children,another Aunt/Uncle had 5 children. The rest of sibs had between O to 2 children, this was my generation. There are 17 in my generation and nobody has more than 3, the rest have 1-2. I decided not to have children for many reasons although I'd always wanted at least one. It is a LOT of work and few stay at home moms these days. Now, women want to go to school and have careers, not raising 5+ children very expensive. This isn't just in America. Back in the day when my grandparents were kids, it was very common place for many couples to have many children because the children were also workers. Many were farmers or family business owners and needed the children to help with work. The infant mortality rate was very high and many young men died in The Civil War, so you needed extra children in case you lost one or two. The children were loved but it wasn't only out of love that people had children, it was for practical reasons too. Times are very different now and many people all over the world are having fewer and fewer children. This cracks me up Putin thinking they need more kids. He just wants future cannon fodder.... he calls this Traditional Values. He's a ghoul.
