You are wrong! We love Russia and Israel ❤ A 75 year old relationship doesn’t just last solely based upon national interest, there is so much love for culture and cinema. Indians love to travel to Russia and vice versa. Russians love Indian culture, Hinduism and our cinema. They call India a great nation not because of national interest alone, they have seen our rise and helped us achieve a lot of it. Russia is India’s well wisher and so is Israel. Japan also has been a solid friend who has invested so much in India and gives us best deals. There is so much respect for Japanese people and culture in India. We love and appreciate every country who did not interfere in our internal matters, who did not mock our struggles and didn’t undermine our potential. Pakistan has a very transactional POV of every relationship. Maybe because of radicalised mindset. You do not love anyone except dollars so you think everyone is like you. Also, we do keep national interest as our priority but we also know that unlike America, Russia will never demand India to compromise its national interest for their benefit. There is mutual trust and respect.

Do understand Qamar that creating such a divide between Australia and Japan on one hand and India on the other doesn't work. Anymore that is. AUKUS for Australia and Five Eyes and the rest on one side and pressures secretly on India through Pannu types on one hand and having South Korea, etc, alongside Japan and Australia will give the USA only repair and refueling on Indian shores in conflict.
