I think Russia is still preparing or surrounding Kyiv and in the southeast of Ukraine, there's strong resistance from the ukrainian armed force there so the Russian forces are also trying to surround them

Many things have happened un the last 6 days. It's just that this KZbin channel hasn't updated the map. Mariupol is about to be freed from the nazis. A lot of civilians have been liberated as the DPR and russian forces advance through the outskirts of the city towards the center. The latest Azov battalion stronghold is being bombarded today on the industrial complex near the port of Mariupol. The real fighting is on the east side of the country. Western media has only paid attention to the west and Kyiv. Like they had since the beginning of the civil war in 2014

The map is unrealistic. Kharkov, Chernigov, Sumy were not occupied. Luhansk region was occupied in the summer, not in the spring.

My main critique of this map would be we at this point in time we don't have enough evidence to suggest that Russia has fully taken Luhansk oblast: the cities of Lysychansk and Sievierodonetsk, as well as other neighboring towns seem to be still at least partly in Ukrainian hands. I point out that front in particular because those two cities are relatively large (both ~ 100k pop.), and Sievierodonetsk is the de facto administrative centre of the oblast so Russia taking those cities is very significant. Although I understand it's not possible to verify the reliability of sources if you're mapping the events the day after they take place and that you have to weigh up yourself the likelihood of a certain event being the case. Personally though, I'd question Russia's ability to take these cities that quickly.

Russians are regrouping and re-arming. Blitzkrieg failed. Now they're getting into position for pitched battle ala Mariupol. There have been a few attacks on Ukrainian positions, but that's been mostly to hold large chunks of Ukrainians forces in place, while they regroup. A major assault with bombardment is coming.

The Six Day war main land conquered was in the Sinai Peninsula which is largely inhabitated and with both armies acting as classic war formations. Totally different from the Ukraine war where it seems that the Ukrainian army does not act in the open in large battle groups (from obvious reasons) and the Russians on their behalf clearly not acting in 100% full battle drill (like rolling screen of fire ahead of advancing forces) for reasons which probably combine reluctance to cause massive damage and death and possibly also because they prefer to hit the Ukrainian army but avoid it's collapse or a massive encirclement. While they are definitely facing huge difficulties they did not predict, I won't be surprised if their initial plan was to get to a point where the Ukrainians would agree for a painful arrangement coming from a position of 'least of the worst'. Just an assumption. Anyway. While they are clearly facing many logistical problems, and with Ukrainian army surprisingly prepared for acting in small battle groups that are very effective, it is quite clear that goal was never a full scale destruction of cities, infrastructure and endless killing of humans. The killing toll is horrible but judging by the amount of power the Russians brought it could have easily been bigger.
