They kept trying to steal territories from neighboring countries for over 1000 years and, in 1918, justice was finally made.

*Russophobia* is a _mental illness_ that causes _blindness_ and the _loss of reasoning._ Any _non-Russophobic_ person, that's to say, _with good mental health,_ who looks at a map of Rus from the 9th to the 13th century will notice that Rus included all the principalities of modern Russia, and not just the principalities located on the present-day territory of Ukraine. This means that Russia is a continuation of medieval Rus, because the Novgorod Land and the Principalities of Tver, Rostov-Suzdal, Vladimir (later Moscow), Smolensk, Murom-Ryazan and a large part of the Principality of Chernigov were in the current territory of Russia. And even more so Russia is its continuation, since the Principalities of Kiev, Polotsk, Turov, Galicia-Volyn, Pereyaslavl and Chernigov disappeared when they became part of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and Rus continued to exist in the remaining principalities located in present-day Russia. For that reason, it's useless to talk about a “Muscovy” that never existed. On the territory of modern Russia, the word “русин” or “роусин” (“rusin, rousin” = Rusin or Russian) was used in the “Treaty of Novgorod with the Gothic Coast and the German cities on Peace, Diplomatic and Commercial Relations and on Justice”, concluded under Prince of Novgorod, Yaroslav Vladimirovich, in 1189-1199: _“Оже тяжа родится бес крови, снидутся послуси, и _*_РУСЬ_*_ и нѣмци, то вергуть жеребьее; кому ся выимьть, ротѣ шедъ, свою правду възмуть. Оже емати скотъ варягу на _*_РУСИНѢ_*_ или _*_РУСИНУ_*_ на варязѣ, а ся его заприть, то 12 мужь послухы, идеть ротѣ, възметь свое”._ (Валк, С. Н. _Грамоты Великого Новгорода и Пскова,_ 1949, p. 56). In this Treaty, the inhabitant of Novgorod is called “русин” as opposed to “нѣмьць, нѣмци” (“German, Germans”). In the 13th century, the word “русин” appears in the “Trade Treaty of Smolensk with Riga and the Gothic Coast” of 1229: *_“РОУСИНОУ_*_ не оупирати латинина ѡднемь послухомь, аже не боудѣтѣ двою послоухоу, ѡдиного немчича, а дроугого _*_РОУСИНА,_*_ добрыхъ людии. Тако латининоу не пьрьпрети _*_РОУСИНА,_*_ аже не боудѣть послоуха _*_РОУСИНА,_*_ а дроугого немчина оу Ризѣ и на Гочкомь березѣ”._ (Аванесов Р. И. _Смоленские грамоты XIII-XIV веков,_ 1963, p. 22). In this Treaty, the inhabitant of Smolensk is called “русин” as opposed to “немчин, немчич” (“German”) and “латинин” (“Latin”). The word “русин” (“Rusin”) was also used by the Russian merchant, explorer and writer from the city of Tver, Afanasiy Nikitin, in his work _“Хожение за три моря”_ (“A Journey Beyond the Three Seas”), published in 1475, and he said: _“А в том в Чюнерѣ ханъ у меня взял жеребца, а увѣдал, что яз не бесерменянин - _*_РУСИНЪ”._* (“And in that city of Junnar, the Khan took my stallion away from me when he knew that I was not a Muslim, but a *RUSIN.”)* (Лихачёв, Д. С.; Дмитриев, Л. А.; Алексеев, А. А.; Понырко, Н. В. _Библиотека литературы Древней Руси,_ Том 7, Вторая половина XV века, 1999, pp. 354-355). In the work _“Словарь русского языка XI-XVII вв.”_ (“Dictionary of the Russian Language from the 11th to the 17th Centuries”), the word “русинъ” is defined as “русский” (“russkiy” = Russian) _(Словарь русского языка XI-XVII вв.,_ Выпуск 22, 1997, Voice “русинъ”, page 259). Over time, these forms were replaced by the noun adjective “русский” (“russkiy” = Russian), which arose from the expressions “русские люди” (“Russian people”) and “русский человек” (“Russian man”) used in the work _“Повесть временных лет”_ (“Tale of Bygone Years”). At the same time, the Greek literary forms “росс” (“ross”) or “россиянин” (“rossiyanin”) were also used. As you can see, the word “русин” (“Rusin”) was already used to refer to the population of Novgorod, Smolensk and Tver, and these three principalities were located in what is now Russia. Therefore, the word “русин” (“Rusin”) was used in all principalities, not only in Kiev, since it's the ethnonym of “Русь” plus the suffix “-ин” for belonging to a people.

The Ottomans owned Khotour (Qatur) until 1878, and they also administrated Novi-Bazar after the Treaty of Berlin, though Austria-Hungary occupied it. So Novi-Bazar should have been showed as Ottoman after 1878. Eastern Roumelia stayed a part of the Ottoman Empire until 1908. Until then (and after 1886) the Bulgarian Prince was only the Governor-General of the Province, but it stayed part of the Empire.

@@Robespierre228 You're not seriously trying to explain to a German that Bavaria isn't part of Germany, are you? Otherwise, I have to inform you that you've lost your mind. Germany is an independent state, and Austria is an independent state. Bavaria is a federal state of Germany, just like 15 other federal states that together make up and belong to the Federal Republic of Germany. Austria is NOT a federal state of Germany and therefore does not belong to Germany. The only thing Germany and Austria have in common is the language. German is also spoken in Austria, albeit with strong dialects.

Here's the problem, by German Empire they mean Prussia and by Prussia they mean its pre Fred II territories where all the Junkers lived. Same issue emerges with the UK, Spain, France and the like. Pan Nationalism besides in reality only serving the interests of one group, creates a contradiction in itself. Take the other Pan Germans, the NSers, the Austrian Painter was most familiar with the Capital and Upper Bavaria where he spent most of the 1920s and early 1910s before WW1.

Even with this conquest of the world, the British Empire was even larger than the imperal Mongol Empire, of course. It's very funny to see how the Mongol Empire lost the entire continent after 500 years domination by The Qing Rule.

Let me give you some historic lesson for free, so that you do not live in delusion for the rest of your days. Bulgaria and Bulgarian people exist for over 8000 years. You (Turkey), as well as other countries, have tried to erase Bulgarian history over the centuries (and it is happening to this very day). It is a common practice for the victors in war to write the "history". They tried to change the history books taught in Bulgarian schools about the Ottoman Empire atrocities during the 500 years of slavery. They tried to say that it was not a slavery, and that Turkey was actually helping Bulgaria, and some other nonsense. The same way that a lot of the African people do not know their history. Simply because it was erased by other countries over the eons of time. But, there are some of us who know, you see. Some of us remember. So, do me favour, do not ever again dare to comment on something that you have no idea about. And do not comment about Bulgaria. You have no right to comment about people who are on this Earth many thousands of years before your ancestors. And you have no right to talk about history!

You are not a turk you have no right to call yourself a turk you are a brown arabic looking man with greek dna. At least with bulgarians dna evidence and gedmatch samples of thracians are very close to modern bulgarians and make up most of bulgarian genepool.
