Perfect training to get gradually accustomed to the sounds and Russian words without too much « suffering », (which would otherwise be quickly off putting !) Also good choice of USUAL vocabulary. Being a teacher myself I can tell you Max you have the « knack » Огромное Спасибо 😊

Hi Max, I just discovered your site and appreciate the way you are teaching. I started 5 months ago to learn Russian, but got frustated while learning grammar as I am still unable to understand anything. In your PDF you wrote: "Но Сэм очень сильно хочет выучить русский язык!" and translated "But Sam very *badly* wants to learn Russian language." Well I'm not an english native speaker, but I think that "сильно" doesn't mean "badly" but strong.

Hi Max - Ian from Portugal here, interested in all things Russian: I liked this lesson. Russian juxtaposed with the English translation, which works much better for me than subtitles. I also appreciated your question and answer breakdown of the text. However, you don't seem to have repeated or extended this approach, using text in the same way.. If you have, please refer me to it. That said, I wasn't intending to learn Russian but you are maybe convincing me to think again:-) Otherwise, thanks for all your amazing work and enthusiasm and please consider coming to Portugal some day. You'd be very welcome:-) All the very best!

Hi, Ian! You may look at the playlist called TPRS... There you'll find such videos. For intermediate students I do dialogue-based stories only website. There's also a TPRS podcast from Real Russian club, it's free, check it out! Ciao
@ianrowcliffe
@ianrowcliffe 4 жыл бұрын
@@RussianWithMax Yes, your TPRS's are also accessible but a bit limited. The dialogue-based stories are also interesting, but the gap between the text and dialogue difficult to bridge. That said they are enjoyable and often fun and funny. All in all, I admire your ingenuity and all the amazing energy you put into everything you do. Julia is also very charming when she appears:-) Keep up the good work and all you are doing to show us what Russians are really like. Language is also so much about people, isn't it? Thank you.

Я недавно приехал в Россию учиться и только вчера нашёл твой прекрасный канал для тех, кто изучает русский язык как иностранный в том числе и я. Спасибо большое большое за твой труд!!! Русский язык- это язык Пушкина, Ленина, язык сближения наций и братства!!!

Почему сказать "одну неделю назад" вместо "одна неделя назад"?? Слово "неделя" - это женский род, правильно? Извините, но грамматика очень важна.
@RussianWithMax
@RussianWithMax 6 жыл бұрын
Разные падежи. Одну неделю(accusative) назад. Одна неделя - 'У меня есть одна неделя(nominative) чтобы закончить проект'. Да, неделя - женский род, все правильно:)
