I cried too and when you said you miss your dad, when they showed the wedding, I cried more. My dad would always say “time is going so fast I’ll be giving you away at your wedding before long” He didn’t give me away as he died when I was 16 😢 This is such a beautiful song and I’m almost 56 years old and still love Twilight 🤭 xx

I love this song! ❤ It never fails to make me feel very emotional too, in a good way. My son just found the love of his life at the age of 36 about 2 years ago. He always said he didn’t want children and didn’t know if he’d ever get married and now, two years later, they have a beautiful baby boy and will be marrying in the next few months. I’m so happy for them and I think they need this song in their wedding ❤❤❤

Irena, when I was married I would play this for my wife, knowing the feeling was mutual. When she passed away, of course devastated. I'll see her again, I don't think it will take a thousand years. Thank God, but the meaning & feeling certainly will be. Take care Irena!

Yeah I'm 38 and I'll tell you I was a lucky lucky age and I never thought that before the past few years but I still remember riding bikes with my friends to a friend's house and knocking on the door and people didn't act weird when you knocked on the door and going out until 10 o'clock at night and nobody bothering you no cell phones those were the days and then computers came along and then everybody ruined everything. This was the main song of the last 2 'Twilight' movies - 'Breaking Dawn' Pt. 1 & 2... it perfectly captured the love & romance between the 2 characters - a century-old vampire and a mortal teenage girl, who finally reached a happy union after heartbreak and betrayal and disappointment... I know the movies (and books) get a lot of crap, but I enjoyed reading the story. There was a reason it sold so many copies (all 4 books) because people loved the characters and wanted to see them have a happy ending... even the wolf who got rejected finally got his soulmate in an unusual way... But the story is about Bella and Edward... I'm not the biggest fan of romance novels, but the story was very well told. U felt for Edward, u related to Bella, and even admired Jacob... and there were plenty of characters that were so compelling - The Cullen family, Seth Clearwater, Billy Black, Charlie Swan, etc.
