Short Russian Tsvetnaya Bolonka description:
The Russian Bolonka is a very small lap dog with squared body, meaning that the back should not be longer than the legs. The average height is typically between 9-11 inches, which is 22-28 cm and weight is usually between 5-11 lbs, which is 2-5 kg. There are no extreme size differences between males and females.
Russian Bolonka was literally bred to be apartment dog, so its no wonder they will easily adapt to live even in tiny apartment. But even though it is a small lap dog, this is still a playful breed that definitely needs daily outdoor walk or playtime to stay healthy and happy. But this is definitely not a hyperactive dog breed and as i said, these dogs will happily live even in tiny apartments. They will be happy anywhere, if they are with their people.

I have a cream colored Havanese. Just for fun, I recently had her DNA tested and she has some Russian Tsvetnaya Bolonka in her genetic ancestry. She is mostly Havanese but has a sprinkling of Russian Tsvetnaya Bolonka and Bichon Frishe in her ancestry. 🐾❤

I just learned that our dog has Bolonka in DNA. This is a Shih Tzu-looking rescue dog in Seoul, Korea. I wondered why the dog has curls in her hair when Shih Tzus don't. Now I know! It's lovely to learn about this breed!

Beautiful breed! They look so much like a Morkie I had (she might have been a Shorkie). I read on one site that Bolonka males have a “beard and mustache” (dark muzzle, I assume) and females don’t, but I’m not sure if that’s true. Thanks for the video!
