Exactly, Trump supporters were exactly the same most of the time. It's a huge red flag to anyone with the social intelligence to pick up on it. Some people can just look straight through that stuff while others don't or claim to. Talking to a leaders supporters shows you EVERYTHING. Anyone wise enough can learn a lot simply from body language alone, not to mention all the other information you can pick up from them. It's especially terrible when even they know they're supporting fascism. Instead of changing their minds, they invest fully in their stubborn choice in hopes it wins out in the end instead of taking responsibility or simply making the wiser more mature decision.

Yeah, something about what Nevelny said in his last court appearance stuck with me. "This is your essence, that you are all villains and understand this and revel in it." It's an odd thing that is at the heart of Putin-ism, that somehow ruthlessness is the purest form of innocence. It's a hard concept for many in the west to wrap their head around. It's not even "you have to break a few eggs to make an omelet", it's more than that. Being honest in your brutality is somehow virtuous. In truth I don't even fully understand it.

How can you sleep while the rest of us cry?", directly adressing George W. Bush's war) and name it as it is without imprisonment, beating and possibly torture. A Russian political satire? Deadly! Forbidden! Must be signed by the Kreml, beginning with the script. A critical movie about Stalin? Non-existant I figure unless proven wrong. Would love ro see one. Russian gov bans it's own writers and their work, like Strugatzki who wrote philosophical Scifi and fantasy stories - the gov didn't understand their weird and surreal imaginations, fearing 'hidden anti-communistic' messages, and simply censored their works. And today PoohTeen claims that 'the west ist destroying Russian culture' - tip of the iceberg. I think since we can read the ORIGINAL uncensored editions of Russian literature, and the people who know them love them (I'm from Switzerland), I pity the Russians to some degree.

This is why it's important to distinguish between the willful and incidental Putinist Orcs and the normal people of Russia. Context and relativity is everything when assessing Russia as a Nation. Unfortunately we have seen that removing a dictator from his own land can lead to worse things. We have also seen Russian units firing at each other for petty reasons. Putin must fall, but Russia itself must endure. Russia must be pushed back, but taking Russian land without the supported of local people is both wrong and a recipe for disaster. The war must end with the restoration of the pre 2014 borders and nothing more. Unless Putin crosses that escalatory red line, these borders must be respected with no occupation of Russian lands. Change must always come from within. At least at the beginning of a thing.

Putin is one of the most influential people in the world. He can't be liked by everyone. But we can say with confidence that Putin is very useful to Russia. Under Putin, Russia began to develop in all spheres and strengthen its sovereignty.

An international coalition of crooks is proping up Putin. One of the major aid they gave him was bankrupting Greece so they wouldnt seek resource autonomy that would entail tapping in their vast reservoir of undersea gas and becoming main supplier of EU, that would unsettle Russia from no1 as a supplier. Now this fecission will soon come to bite Putin in the @ss. Watch news from the Aegean closely. The whole scheme of "Russia leading country" is unravelling.
