Let's enjoy a night in Moscow!
Downtowns in America are considered dangerous especially at night. I've spent 2 months in America visiting over a dozen cities like New York City, Philadelphia, Boston, Atlanta, Houston, Chicago etc
They are fantastic. But most of them are hindered by street crime, homelessness and garbage.
But it doesn't have to be that way.
Look at Moscow, Seoul, Tokyo etc
Let's do some Walking on Streets Moscow.

Hello! Don't get me wrong. I'm not a US hater. I love the US and American cities. But right now American downtowns are not safe especially after dark. I was in Austin on June 12 and left just an hour before a mass shooting on Sixth Street took place that killed one man and injured 14 others. I could have been one of the victims! America is a fantastic country but right now it got itself into a dangerous situation when every weekend you have hundreds of people getting robbed, shot at and even killed. This is not the norm. And that's why Moscow felt so different after staying in the US for 2 months. Moscow and Russia have a lot of problems , too. No place is perfect. and I talk about them on this channel. Thanks !

That's why most Americans where I live in the Midwest leave the big cities the hell alone. I live 6 hours from Chicago but would not go there. Downtown Detroit has seen billions of dollars invested and is actually extremely safe and beautiful now. When we want a night out to get a taste of big city life and get out of the nice suburbs of Oakland County we go to downtown Detroit where there is a police presence everything is nice and clean and reasonably priced for the most part compared to most American large cities. Most American big cities are filled with ultra liberals at the helm and they have allowed the cities to become Shadows of what they used to be. It's sad. That's why you're seeing a large Exodus from many major American cities, The Exodus will only get worse before it gets better.

As an American who has traveled extensively to most parts of the globe and lived abroad, I'm astounded at how little Americans know about the world outside of its borders, and especially about Russia. My comment is not about political ideology but just about knowledge. However, the less people know, the easier it is for governments to fool them.

I am an American and I have travelled in 104 countries and I am amazed how many Americans have never even been to another state; many don't even own a passport. But then there are the '"other" Americans like me. So like Baskin Robbins, I think we come in 31 different flavours. I now live between Greece and Italy, I have two homes, and I love it.

Very right. Back in the day, I saw Jay Leno do a walk about in California asking young people questions about their country and about the world. They hardly knew which ocean was on each side of America , nor what countries bordered theirs. They were just living the great LA life, totally oblivious. Only one young guy could answer a question about anything outside of the US. He had learned something about Canada in a course at school. The young people lived only the internal life of their own spaces. We Canadians used to say about the States, that their minds nor their imaginations can rise above the 49th parallel. American existence! Wow!

Unfortunately, the distribution of finances in Russia is very uneven, so cities in different parts of the country can look like different planets. If you're not tired of Russia yet, try taking a ferry to St. Petersburg, it's quick and inexpensive (just don't drink too much there, haha, some Finns will get my joke). Hang out there a little, the city is very beautiful, many consider it the most attractive in Russia. Then you can get from there to Moscow by high-speed train "Sapsan" in 4 hours. And from Moscow, by local trains, travel along the "golden ring" of Russia - the ancient medieval cities, where centuries-old kremlin and other buildings have survived. It will also come out extremely inexpensive. Then you will seriously feel the spirit of Russia. Tervehdys Suomelle ja sen kansalle!

EXCELLENT! I am 88 yo Mexican-American, born poor in a desert mining town. I became a successful professional, retired comfortably in my own home. Being Mexican-American, I have a huge familia that includes many good people. I admire Russians because we were allies during WW2 and learned they were great patriots, tough, cultured, and that they suffered horrible tragedies and came back strong. As a young man, I learned many things about Russians that impressed me very much.... 👏 in fields like the sciences, mathematics, literature, music, dance, and philosophy. America is a great country too, but is in a steep decline due to the combined unintended consequences of politicians trying social engineer people. America has a huge problem with hedonism and immorality... Americans have destroyed the traditional "familia" that included love and decent , sane, cultured parenting within a supporting network of kin, neighbors, and professionals. The very things that I note Russians seem to have. Americans, to me, are super stressed, hedonistic, materialistic, and emotionally superficial.... many Americans are educated but still "ignorant" about important things right under their noses. For about 60 years, Americans have raised children to be spoiled brats who remain this way until their 50s! Some never really grow up and die before their parents because of drugs, suicide, or stress-related medical conditions including obesity and heart attacks. One big American problem is Blacks.... They have been brain washed and in many ways pampered to become "victims" of White racism. So, in part consequence, they are angry, hedonistic, childish, criminogenic, and do not have a sense of shame in public conduct. Some Blacks try to correct the negatives, but to little avail, because they are overwhelmed by their adult "children" who waste their material and human resources on hedonistic even criminal pursuits. Blacks are much overrepresented in prisons for all kinds of crimes. KZbin videos of Black neighborhoods and zones are available in quantity for anyone to see my negative allegations. Blacks even have their own language and distinct culture to separate themselves from mainstream Americans. @Russians: America is in social and moral decline. Our politicians are reflective of this. The President and Vice President (for example) arranged with a combination 😈 evil agents to steal a Presidential Election! How horrible is that? Russian, I know you too have problems, all nations do, but overall you seem healthier, happier, more civilized , less spoiled, more law abiding, healthier, and educated than we Americans. Finally, I hope you avoid going the ways America has in the last 60 years. PAZ, amigos 💘😻💜💛

Not gonna lie, I had a totally different perception of Moscow before watching this video and was probably due to US propaganda. I lived in Thailand for a few years and all of my friends from the USA thought Thailand was a third world country with huts and people living in the wild life and a bunch of prostitutes. The majority of prostitution is in Bangkok, that's it. It's crazy how Americans are brainwashed into thinking certain countries are not what they're actually are.

I live in Maryland and strongly attest to the homelessness, gun violence, carjackings and uncleanliness rampant in DC, Baltimore, Philadelphia - basically all the big cities up and down the East Coast and their metro areas. I can’t speak to other areas of the country except Chicago and Los Angeles which are also engulfed in these problems too. It’s absolutely awful. I support solutions and am willing to do my part. Thanks for you video about Moscow. I am an American born and raised in NYC, which is a slum compared to what you show of Moscow. NYC was dangerous growing up. I was mugged several times over the years even at knife point right on Park Avenue (East 90th Street). My father called the police, who did nothing to find the criminals. All the police could say to my father was, "be happy your son is still alive". That's the day my father, a German immigrant who escaped from East Germany, decided to get out of the City. NYC is still dangerous as the world could see in 2020 riots. It is still a filthy, smelly place that is crazy expensive! Everything is outrageously expensive...food, housing, transportation, entertainment...EVERYTHING! NYC is run by inept and corrupt political ideologue (Bill DeBlasio). Quite honestly, I do not understand why a Muscovite would want to live in NYC. I avoid NY and all American cities for safety reasons. Moscow and St Petersburg look fantastic to me. The streets are clean with no graffiti. The people are well dressed and care about how they look. There are no homeless. The infrastructure is not rotten and crumbling like in NYC. Thanks for your videos, they make me want to visit Russia and imagine living in Moscow and St Petersburg. I CANNOT imagine living in NYC or Philadelphia, or Boston, or D.C, or, or , or. Unfortunately the Western propaganda was and still is very strong in Russia. Lots of people have this image that everything that is good in Russia is just not good enough and in the west everything just has to be 100 times better. They believe that every American is super rich and there is just no such thing as corruption in the west, all politicians in the western countries do is just thinking on how to make lives of common people better and bla bla bla. This is pathetic, to be honest, that so many people in Russia are not able to appreciate the decency of life in Russia. It has to do with the fact that we have undergone a horrible experience in the 90's when our country merely dodged a bullet of a total disintegration and a civil war, and many people still can't believe that now we are on a rise. This will change after a generation or two, but for now it is what it is. I work in a international sphere so I meet so many Russians returning back from their emigration experience with their eyes opened on how good Russia and Moscow in particular actually is, and I also meet lots of foreigners who come to stay in Moscow because of their job and all of them only have great experiences. Of course there is a whole bunch of things that are yet to be improved and a whole lot of challenges for Russia in this time in history, but we are actually doing great and we are on the way to a great future, this is what's obvious to me.

@@RussianPlus Being filmed before February 2022 is meaningless. The war is simply the culmination of Russian society's quiet, decades-long complicity in the Putin regime. Drawing some sort of comparative analysis between how American big city governments and a brutal, totalitarian police state deals with homelessness isn't a fair comparison. If your only measure of "results" is how visible homeless people are to passersby, then yes, Moscow is cleaner. There's no drug problem in Singapore because drug dealers are executed. As someone who grew up in the big city of Philadelphia and lived there for 60 years of my life and now live in the south and in the country because I was fed up with that kind of city life that I saw, to see how beautiful and safe Moscow is is totally surprising from what we always hear. As someone who had a German mother and a Ukrainian father who both immigrated to the US, I was raised differently and still to this day feel different living here because we were raised similar to the way you were describing the people in Moscow. Having a Ukrainian dad who always talks bad about Russians and living in the US with all the propaganda, it gives me much pleasure to see how beautiful this city is and safe and the people also. One thing I noticed, I did not see people with tattoos all over their body which I find in this country has gotten out of hand and to me it’s very ugly and that’s not politically correct to say but I don’t really care because I was raised differently. My son grew up and is a father today and has two huge tattoos on his body which is just beyond my understanding. This video proves that there must be something going on right in the country. Even though I live in the country we are starting to see more and more homeless in our small towns. This is what happens in a country that gives out free money to everyone whereas when my parents immigrated here in the late 1940s they interviewed them and told them if they cannot afford to support themselves to get on the boat and turn around and go back to their countries. Many Russians immigrated to this country after communism left Russia and in Philadelphia we had huge supermarkets that we called Russian supermarkets. I would watch Russians as they brought food stamps given to them by this country to buy their food. We worked in this country and our pensions are low and they give out free money to people who just come here. My parents did not have that luxury so I was raised to work hard if I wanted to get ahead in life. I think the US knew what they were doing by giving out free money and people would become lazy and dependent on it. Very sad but I am learning that the Russian people are wonderful people. If my dad was still alive he’d be really mad at me for thinking that but that’s OK. The Russians that moved to this country probably were different because if I spoke English in those supermarkets they looked at me like I was not belonging there. I came there because the foods they had were the foods I grew up with. Your videos are quite entertaining and show us clearly that Russian people are safe. I loved the people in Germany too when I went to visit my relatives for the summer and I loved it there also because it was so different.People were very community minded and helped one another. I am finding in the country even where I live people are even more to themselves but still much nicer and Friendlier than the northern part of the US.

I'm from NZ and visited LA for a month a few years ago and it was really sad how many homeless people there were all over the city. Blocks and blocks and blocks of them in the downtown and under every bridge you would see them even further out in the inner suburbs. The US certainly has the money to help those people but no willpower it seems. A lot of cities around the world have homelessness, I know that, but the sheer scale over there in the wealthiest country in the world is ridiculous. If the US spent even 1% what they do on their military I'm sure it could be ended within 10 years. Such a shame.

NYC compared to Moscow? There is no comparison, Moscow is educated, cultured, clean, free, open safe, and friendly. NYC is none of those things. But NYC is better than other cities the opportunities while most of the US sink more every month in quality of life. Russia in the 2010s to present is a much freer place with better services that everyone can access, not just the wealthy. For starting a business or raising a family Russia is much better, because anyone not wealthy in the US is deeply in debt, unable to save with cost of living increasing daily with so many separate bills so every family making less than $150k a year just sinks deeper in debt. That trend started in the mid-1970s and has gotten worse every year. I have been in 91 countries and when I moved from California in 2000 my first choice was St Petersburg Russia. I was so sick of the division stress and anger on the streets and intolerance of different views in the US. I gave everything away, houses, cars ,an airplane and wanted to start a very simple no-frills life so I arrived on the main street of St Petersburg with 2 suitcases and $6000 and no idea of where to live or how to support myself. I could live there for a year on $6k and my monthly costs for basic living in Marin country with no mortgages or car payments was about $10,000 a month. I had been to Russia many times so I knew a lot about the city so rented a small apartment in the heart of the city and met new friends daily and really enjoyed the great personal freedom and zero stress. After a few months, I started a new small business that grew from 1 to 68 employees in 2 years. That was 21 years ago and for the first few years I returned to the US a couple times a year but each time I grew more disconnected because the society was at each other's throats and angry/dangerous. I had to self censor every word to prevent triggering someone into a rage. My last time back was 2012. Every time I did return it was less free, more regulation and "security" and dirtier and dumber. Every month in Russia quality of life improves, for everyone, and no there is virtually no homelessness. When you do see someone out on the street, they have a home but are too drunk or impaired to go home or are far from home registered in another region. It improvements are for everyone, not just the wealthy as in the US. Most laws passed in Russia directly positively impact the lower-income people most. With free medical care, university and 3 years paid family leave, far better schools, museums, parks and unequaled access to cultural life in Russia is just more humane, stress-free almost debt gree and far far more personal freedom than Americans have. The big difference is corruption. The US is the only country I know of where it i perfectly legal to bribe Congress and lobbyists even write the legislation so some wealthy get richer and more wars, while the bottom 60% have no savings, no positive net worth, and no hope. That is corruption like nowhere else. Every US city has districts that are no-go zones of violence and incredible poverty without even access to fresh food since grocery chains do not locate in run-down districts.

What a beautiful city. I left England in the 80's, I didn't live in London, but visited..interesting but expensive to do anything. Now many parts don't look European anymore. Moscow retains the European look & culture. I could happily live there. Lived in NZ, about one hour driving north of Auckland. NZ is beautiful too & people are generally very friendly.
