Up until 7 months ago when I first started to watch Russian Plus as well as Yeah Russia and Eli from Russia (and others), the only cities I knew about in Russia were Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Vladivostok. What I really like about these and many other cities in Russia is the blend of old architecture with new architecture. And the fact that these cities are very clean and modern and people friendly. I'm also impressed with the content and quality of the videos produced by Russian vloggers! You guys are spreading good will, as opposed to the news media that tends to spread ill will. They are: Rostov on Don Samara Chelyabinsk Kazan Ekaterinburg Sant Petersburg Moscow. I must say Sant Petersburg was by far the most beautiful, almost like a modern city in Western Europe. It has attractions like Bielly Noches, white nights, Nevesky Prospect and also little satellite cities like Petergof and Pushkin. However, I love Ekaterinburg the most specially after the roads and the cars get cleansed in Spring. Can't put years of travel to such a large and multicultural country with 24 Republics (incl. Great piece Slava. I visited Moscow and Leningrad in 1991. It was fascinating experience for me. As an American, I appreciated looking in as an outsider but many of the tours only went to Moscow and Leningrad. I would love to visit these cities in Siberia and Volga region. I'm also glad you visit America and enjoy your travels in my country. By the fact that most of the Russian economy is invested in these cities. They are the best in terms of living standards, salaries (here they are approximately equal to European ones), etc. It is clear that many people know only about them.

Very interesting. Thx ! It would be nice if you showed the cities also on the map ;) Interestingly that most of the cities rank exactly in between 1.1 and 1.2 million people. St. Petersburg would be on top of the list for sure, since its history and culture and its closeness to europe. If I would pick on of the large "unknown" cities it is difficult to chose from Kazan and Samara. Beautiful architecture, and I like that river beach in Samara. I'll hope I can go one day on the transiberian express, to see more of this endless country. Greetings from the Netherlands (which has more towns to see then just Amsterdam ;) ).
