Sayings, idioms, etc are some of the most challenging things for non English speakers to grasp at first. Don't feel bad. To come undone would be something like falling apart or unraveling. Not doing well or being emotionally/mentally fragile.

I listened to this during my Junior year of University back in 1993. I used to sing this full voice as a stress release from my studies--hahaha! I blasted this song and "Ordinary World." You need to react to Ordinary World if you like "Come Undone."

Duran Duran ... great stuff... time period era specific.. The movie "Ready Player One"... sooo good in so many ways... shows the early days of video gaming... and music in tandem with it. Duran Duran has "Inspired" how many over the years... great stuff.

To 'come undone' is an expression in English about losing control emotionally... falling apart personally or mentally ... or failing... KoRn has a song called 'Coming undone'... Duran Duran does not get enough credit as a pop band... They have never stayed w/ 1 creative sound in their catalog of music, dating back to the early 80's when they were huge stars on MTV. Duran Duran were formed in the UK in 1978 and their line-up stabilized by 1980 w/ Simon LeBon (vocals), Nick Rhodes (keyboards), John Taylor (bass/ guitar), Andy Taylor (guitar) and Roger Taylor (drums - not Queen's drummer Roger Taylor 😁) ...none of the Taylors were brothers or related... Duran Duran were on the cutting edge of the synth pop sound in England at the time. In 1981, Duran Duran debuted their first album and were an instant hit in Europe w/ the singles - 'Girls on film' ... 'Planet Earth'... 2nd album 'Rio' in 1982 made Duran Duran superstars on MTV w/ hits like - 'Hungry like the wolf' ... 'Rio' ... 'Save a prayer'... the band became a pop sensation on tour... and were huge in the USA by 1983 w/ another hit - 'Is there something I should know'... 3rd album 'Seven and the Ragged Tiger' in 1983 was another hit w/ the singles - 'Union of the snake' ... 'The Reflex'... In 1984, Duran Duran released a live album 'Arena'... which had the hit studio single - 'The wild boys'... However, after performing on Live Aid 1985, drummer Roger Taylor quit Duran Duran... and guitarist Andy Taylor left by 1986. Warren Cuccurullo (guitar) joined in '86 for the album 'Notorious'... Duran Duran's popularity had dropped, having been a 'teen pop' sensation. The band persisted regardless, releasing the albums 'Big thing' (1988) and 'Liberty' (1990)...
