Thank you Irina for this! So interesting. We are close friends with Lebanese and so much enjoy going to Christmas and New Year's celebrations with their large gatherings and sampling all the varieties of dishes.

Let me get this straight. The girl on the channel is Russian but lives in an English-speaking country (probably the UK or the US). I thought these countries had banned Russians from entering since they are rivals politically, not to mention that the US is Russia's main enemy

Hi Irina. I was raised in a Ukrainian home, and enjoyed traditional Ukrainian food Eg. Kutia, borshch, pedaheh, stewed cabbage, jellied fish and of course uzvar to finish. I have a feeling there are a lot of similarities.

Sturgeon caviar was banned in the US since 2010 I believe. We use other fish now as it’s plentiful. Usually salmon caviar is used.

Im in the US and LOVE sardines. They are widely available but many people have not been exposed to them or are adverse to trying them.
@grennhaldАй бұрын
I've had something very close to the chicken, breaded chicken stuffed with butter and chives. I've had the caviar, that's very popular in France around the holidays, especially Christmas Eve. While I've had sardines many many times, I've never had these gold ones. Can't say I've had the other ones, but Russian food isn't popular here. Pelmeni has recently shown up in one supermarket chain but only in the last year or so. And there's a handful of places that sometimes stock kvass, but not nearly enough stores, and far from regularly enough.

I don't like a lot of mayo or any amount of beets. I probably wouldn't like caviar either, but I'd try it. I had salmon egg sushi once. Didn't like that. The other things I'd probably like.

😅 for a moment I thought you had some kind of allergic reaction to botox 😮 the hold coloring if the sardines comes from being smoked then canned in oil.🐟 caviar on crackers 😋 vegtable potato salad I'll just have a shot of vodka 😂
