Disgusting. To invade a country and then expect people to behave like Russians in a police state. And this sending people into Russia as hostages is truly vile.

The reporter interrupted Anastashia as she was actually giving real insight into the procedures and mindset of occupying Russian soldiers! Just so she could ask ask some vacuous, emotive questions about fleeing, that didn't go anywhere, and 'what did you think would happen to you if you were caught?' Frustrating!

For some reason these mass media guys are able always to find only english speaking ukrainians. In Ukraine, the education it's very poor and only those that have more money to pay for english lessons can have such english level like this "poor woman", so, who is this woman? sometimes we see also these so called "refugees" that speak perfect english, I'm sorry but english it's not a common language in Ukraine, people speak russian or ukrainian but english few people speak it, so why western mass media only choose english speaking "refugees", "tortured by russians" etc, and another question, which evidence we have of this woman say? apartments in Ukraine and Russia, usually they have cctv system, maybe she can bring us videos of these raids of russians against their apartments? Well I do have footage of the ukrainian territorial defense raiding apartments of ukrainian civilians, maybe this woman have something to say about it? oh yeah, only russians we have to blame right? kzbin.info/www/bejne/bIWQq52Iopd4eqc kzbin.info/www/bejne/j4CqZ4iviridn9U

Until recently, my fiancee lived in Kherson. Everything the woman is saying is true. My fiancee told me the same stories. She was always careful to delete her social media everyday .... last week she and some others made it out and also went to Odessa. She also had to go through several Russian checkpoints, and each time, it was a nerve wracking experience. However , they were not searched at the checkpoints .... the Russians manning the checkpoints were begging them for food and cigarettes ..... Kherson has been spared the destruction of other cities because the Russians occupy it, and have since the first few days of the war. The people protest, and initially nothing was really done, but these days the Russians are more brutal about cracking down on the protests. They just can't accept the fact that people come to the protests of their own free will, and not because some "mastermind" is telling them to. Soon, on May 1st, there is to be a "referendum" on creating a People's Republic of Kherson .... much like in Donbass and Luhansk regions. Of course this will be rigged and the outcome will be all but certain ..... For now, Kherson is in Russian hands .... BUT Kherson IS Ukraine !!!!

So many journalists are so incredibly brain-dead. And this one is no exception. Anastasia was giving an absolutely fascinating and revealing account of the interaction with the Russian soldiers, and just about to say what their response was when they were asked why they wrote "Glory to Ukraine" on their phones. At that point this incompetent journalist interrupts her to talk about fleeing. So then we get a fleeing story. Lots of people flee. They're afraid. They escape. They make it to safety (or not). It's essentially the same story, repeated over and over and over again. But how often do you get to hear a first-person account of an interaction with the invading forces? Insight into the relationship between Ukrainians and Russians in such a context is much more interesting than an escape story, at least to me. For those who prefer another escape story, I recommend splitting this video up into two parts and letting her talk at length about both aspects of the story. Interviewing journalists are SO frustrating, especially on soundbite channels like this one. It's what you find on most (all?) commercial channels. Piss me off! At one point the journalist says: "I have about a minute left..." Why does she only have about a minute left??? It's because of her brain-dead editor boss (and bosses - all the way to the top of CNN). These things are packaged and controlled so as to limit their quality, if not by intent then certainly in their results. Dismal.

Let's not forget the US is responsible for the children starving to death in Yemen with our blockade to assist the Saudis and their guerilla war with Yemen. A joke that I heard. A contest was held to assess the best police in the world: the English, the American and the Russian. They released a rabbit in the middle of a forest. The British police, using techniques of interrogation of the animals of the forest, located the rabbit in 30 minutes. The American, using satellite images, located the rabbit in 25 minutes. The Russian entered the forest, and after 5 minutes, the Russian police brought in a porcupine full of bruises and fractures. The animal squeaked, "I'm a rabbit! I'm a rabbit!"

yes, it's crucial to understand the mentality of invaders. when they say "are you a n@zi" to a person who is a patriot of their country or ask if someone was paid to be publicly angry at the occupants+invaders - shows the level of brainwashing russians are under. it's just like a cult - no matter your level of education, intelligence, critical thinking, one still might fall prey to a cult so must be vigilant. but, in the soviet era, imagine being indoctrinated since your birth almost till your death (since some people did outlive the soviets) into the ideology of the c0mmie state - i imagine, it's not much better now, even if soviets are formally gone, mentality still prevails - it's tough to get rid of beliefs one was born into and believed themselves - and look at the putler - the hope of soviet "reunification" seems to still be alive in that man's evil mind, despite the free sovereign countries not wanting that at all. just like the baltics didn't actually want to join in the first place, but were rushed by stalin to become a wwii front to delay german troops from marching onto russian soil. also, russian empire swallowed and rusified many nations within its belly - look at the map of "ethnicities in russian federation" and you'll see that russians as ethnical people are not what russian federation makes. i have my questions and doubts about what does the russian ethnicity make, since constant flow of people there including viking settlements, tatar-mongol invasions, and even phenotypically it is visible a big part of that ethnicity has also ukranian roots because it was "kievan rus" in the beginning, actually. sigh. it's always sad and bad when war happens, but this war pootin is doing is completely idiotic.
