Had I done this your course two years ago, I might be on C1 - level! I like your didactic approach. It is excellent for people who have learnt other languages before and not for most Americans e.g. For them one would need a much more simple and slower approach. Having done two "simple" courses already, I have learnt something from your very first lesson! This is a qualifier! So, if you have some experience in learning languages, this is for you and should not waste time and money on "children's courses"!

I am 68 yrs old man. Retired as chief Manager from nationalised Indian Bank. I have studies up to RU 3 level from Russian Cultural centre part of Russian Embassy, New Delhi. You have given me golden opportunity to revise my course, as I don’t have opportunity to speak or write Russian language. I was forgetting it slowly. Lot of thanks for your efforts to prepare these lectures, these are really useful to me and others also, who have interest in Russian language and culture.

Hello Nastya! I have been struggling for a few years with learning Russian language. I’ve used Babbel, Rosetta and others, but your approach is natural and now I am not fighting the need to learn this language. You have awakened my appetite finally. My vocabulary is good, but being able to form sentences has been the biggest difficulty for me. I am a man of 66 years. I moved here (Moscow) from England with my wife 20 months ago. My wife is Russian, but privately, having my wife teach me Russian is like trying to teach your wife to drive a car 😱🥴🤣 I found your channel today and I’m already on Lesson 4. Finally there is now hope. Thank you for a wonderful channel. Keep up the excellent work. My next message may be in Russian!!! 🙏

I started to learn Russian with some simple courses. I never understood why specific pronouns were used! There was only little to almost no explanation about genders. At least not that the pronouns are based on what they're pointing on! And something I really like about your videos are your Russian words and sentences in between - This gives a natural feel of language and also more insight on how to use specific phrases! Often I don't know a word yet, but in context, I understand it. And that's great!

in re a cyrillic keyboard - I have a standard qwerty keyboard, but i have picked both English and Russian as language preferences on my PC and using the shift key and the alt key in unison I can toggle between the language/alphabet I type in. Здесь по-русски. Так легко. Similarly one can change alphabets/languages on iphone. I also got stick-on Russian keyboard letters from a vendor on Amazon. I am now training myself to touch-type in Russian. Enjoy your Russian language studies. Peace to the world!
