Good start Russ. Keep up the good work. Getting under 5.7 gets you out of prediabetes. Like to hear that in the future and then you could drop the metformin. Probably take another 6 months or more and by then you can develop the lifestyle to stay healthy. We all want to see that!

Went back and looked at the Pedego Avenue and it seems VERY nice. I think Mrs Right should keep the Pedego over the Rad Large. The only downside of the Pedego is that it will not go over 20 MPH. Especially like that the Pedego is much lighter.

I have a RING doorbell because FedEx and UPS does not ring my doorbell. They leave stuff at my front door and I don’t know it is delivered. But now with the RING doorbell it notifies me when they come to the door. Sometimes I can see the package, some of the more expensive versions you can see a wider range. Very happy with our RING doorbell.

I have one as well. But our garage driveway area isn’t able to be covered based on the design of the house and garage location.

We have a large covered front Porch that is fairly level with a Front door (only one step up), so they tend to leave everything at the Front door under the covered porch. The Ring doorbell sounds as they approach the front door. That is why I got the Ring doorbell. At our prior house for some reason they would ring the doorbell, but this house they do not.

Congrats on your health progress. As far as the bikes, looking at it from the outside, the Pedego seems more compelling to me, but maybe she won’t care about the things that make it better for me. It’s nice to have so many choices, certainly. I haven’t had to sign for a package in a long time, it’s odd how much the experience differs based on areas and what the drivers want to do. To my knowledge, I’ve never had a package stolen, so I don’t worry too much about it. I’ve had packages get delivered to the wrong address before, and not had it show up because of that, but never stolen that I can think of. Certainly since I’ve had a video doorbell these past five years it hasn’t happened.

I use an app on my phone to keep track of my daily glucose readings. You can print out the results. It also tracks my weight, blood pressure and estimates my A1C. I find it very helpful. I print the results to take with me to the doctor.

Lectric doesn’t require signature for delivery. So when I preordered my premium I had to skip vacations, to wait for what ended up being 5 months late for delivery. Keep getting emails saying delivery soon. Followed by another email cancelling delivery time. Was supposed to be delivered in April, ended up delivered In August.

High protein is probably from diabetic kidney damage. Your not normal until you are off meds and your around 5.6 on A1c. Summer riding will help a lot. Problem will be your long winters. Is your bp 130 or under?
