Hey Ace. I noticed that there is a recent glitch with the barrels on the scar. Putting on the longer barrels drastically reduces bullet velocity and damage range. Possibly even base damage as the gun is very weak based on some small testing I did. If you could address this or look at this, it would be interesting.

I get it that were in the middle of the desert when it comes to Rust, but there's times where sand effects kick up and it gets pretty hard to see people on another corner of the map. This along with the sporadic spawns make matches either feel like big wins or big losses.

Me and my EBR-14 with recon love this map. There’s lot of little holes you can sneak bullets through, although it can be very hard to see enemies at the right time through them. That’s where recon comes in, even if you catch a glimpse of an enemy their entire name tag lights up.

I remember back in the day I used to hate this map, but now I kinda like it. It's a small map, but not too small and I like the fact that there's no spawn delay. It's definitely better than Shipment imo

Absolutely, at least shipment was playable (at least more playable than it was in WWII) Rust has just always been too campy and in my experience the only people that really like it are people with that play style which is fine thats just not my thing lmao

Jammersaurous PSN shipment was good on ww2 when they fixed wallbanging crates. If they just tilt the crates on mw like they were in cod4 it would be great

I actually like Rust. It's similar to Shipment, lots of activity, but not nearly as chaotic and crazy. I like that. But I can see why you don't like it Ace, since one of your primary goals is to get the higher kill streaks. There are so many angles that you can die from, I bet it's tough to get some of the higher streaks.

If you get a good run with killchain then it can be pretty easy to get the higher killstreaks. Normally a precision airstrike popped into one of the corner spawns will get you a vtol and from there it’s a 50-50 shot whether you will get your next streak depending on whether the enemy team are hot on shooting it down

There's a spawn camping position on the right side of map, northeast of point B. Its that broken off pipe in the corner of the map. Just hop in there, bring a deployable cover, and a high capacity MG weapon, and you can spawn kill anyone that spawns above B. The spawned person can't even react as he will always spawn in facing B. Had someone kill our team 20 times in 10 or something seconds there in a random match.

Rust has a bunch of camp spots. Some which Ace didn't mention for good reasons. Some positions are so bad you can only get killed if someone frags you.

It’s hard to get spawns going when playing 1v1. Back in mw2 you could get some good flow in the 1v1’s. Now people just camp and pop up from nowhere

While it's a 1000x better than Shipment as a 6v6 map, it's still a pretty damn lousy 6v6 map IMO. It does make for a very solid 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, & probably 4v4 map (even with the crummy spawn logic). I've been grinding the 24/7 Rust playlist in order to reach the free guns within the Battle Pass and I like the map itself, but like I said, I'm not really a fan of it for 6v6 matches. I'm still hoping that Shipment gets fully removed from the Quickplay 6v6 map rotation and I wouldn't mind seeing this one excluded as well, but I am able to tolerate this one a lot more than Shipment.

It's not a line of sight, but if you noticed the fire extinguisher when Ace was on top of the tower, know that a stun will make it explode. I've killed several people throwing a stun up there.

ACE can you address the season 2 battle pass issue that many players are experiencing. After purchasing the battle pass it sends a message that says failed to activate, then continues to show battle pass inactive. Your cod points you paid are gone, and if you bought cod points via PlayStation or Xbox store that money is physically gone as well. No response from Activision after multiple support tickets and chat attempts. Feels criminal.

I dont really understand the people saying that the spawns are bad. I feel like when playing objective based gamemodes the spawn are very easy to predict. In TDM/KC I can understand that it gets a bit hectic. But last night some of the best games was Hardpoint with people actually playing and pushing the objective. Great fun. Pushing into their spawn is, and has always been a part of CoD.

I got in a game with a pre-made group of 5 and they set two guys at the corner of the map in the prone, one guy at top, and pre-fired the spawns near the C flag spawn area on Headquarters. No matter where the objective moved, they would spawn in the same location. There's was three chopper gunners and a Juggernaut called and the enemy team just kept cycling through players leaving and joining. It's a real shit show on Rust.

Back on WW2, he did do a gun-guide style melee weapon test just to clarify that the ranges and times between hits were the same because a lot of misinformation was being spread around!

If you're playing with the right people. I get lobbies where people use power position and camp, and spawn kill all game. You can't do nothing with a team of them, because as soon as you try to move from cover you get killed.

Mounted spots are super helpful. I think Rust is more enjoyable to play but Shipment is better for camos (particularly mounts).

I absolutely hate the haze in rust that makes using any non zoom sights a pain. Those on the structure are hard to target due to the sun and lack of depth in that structure looking from the ground. Id love to have rust at night with a few dim blue and red lights and full moon lighting.

I like Rust better than Shipment (outside of the pure chaos fun Shipment brings). I generally don't get bad spawns, but there have been some, and you can get decently spawn trapped. Of course, then I had a game where I spawned in front of the same guy 3 times in a row as he did a loop around the map.

Some maps could just use a 4v4 option and this is one of those maps, is SnD 5v5 in this game? If this map is in the SnD pool then that could be okay.
