David Cox cheers man 👍. It’s actually bright blue metallic, the white is epoxy primer that was used after the engine bay was blasted

To je predivan auto, stare linije i sam ga jos uvijek vozim od 1985 godine. Odličan, nikada ostavio na cesti.
LOVE YOUR WORK MAN!! You inspired me to shave my bay.❤️

Wowwwwwwwww.. Your works are so clean and precise! I have early Jetta coupe with rusty tailgate, floor, sills, battery tray and other ordinary Mk2's rust spots, for me it's just one interesting thing - how much money do you charge for some work like in this video? Because I'm not sure how much could it cost, but it's intersting to know what price should I expect in my country for some rust repair work, because I want quality, repair panels with all factory curves, with spot welding and don't want to have just a random metal sheet welded in without factory curves (like many "great" welders do it). I'm not from UK, like you I believe, but for a quality welding job after a few yours videos - I want to bring my Jetta on a trailer straight to your workshop! 😎 Absolutely insane work! ❤ P.S. sorry for my not great english - it's not my native language, so it isn't so great.

Good work. I’ve not had luck with weld through primers. Do you mig straight into yours and are all surfaces covered in it when you spot weld?
@RotboxMetalworks4 жыл бұрын
Cheers for the comment! I find the key is not to put too heavy a coat of primer on as I had issues at the start also. Yeah all surfaces are covered, then primer into the joint after welding and waxoyl into the joint too! 👍😀

Some serious spot welder there. Did you aquire that from the old Aston Martin factory in Newport Pagnell when it closed down 👌. And have you let Len loose on it yet! 🤦♂️

Haha, cheers for the comment! Noo just a used one I picked up a few years ago- and no, Len is more scared of the spot welder than she is of the mig welder! 😂👻
