/Hi, can you explain how you found the pin-out for the connector, and more on the sensitivity switches. How they work and why you needed to order them ? Were they just not included with the unit that you purchased, or were the ones that came with the unit too or not enough sensitive? How did you hook them up? How can you adjust the sensitivity on a unit that came out of a doner car ?

Glad you found the problem in the end but never take for granted what others tell you is the problem, do some diagnostics first. The first time I came across an SD 25 engine it was in a 2.5 ton Nissan forklift that was putting water into the oil, the owner was insisting it was the head gasket that was the problem, I found the real problem in about 10 minutes, a coolant pressure tester was what I used to pressurise the coolant system, removing the rocker cover reveled the water was hitting the side of number 7 push rod when you looked down the side of it with an inspection light, the push rod tube had corroded away, it was the same problem as your engine had. I removed the head, pressed the 8 of them out and pressed new ones in, put the head back on and engine was fine after that.
