Thank you so much for inviting Rustam Kasimdzhanov. I'm from Uzbekistan and started playing chess recently. I only knew his name and as chess champion. But this is the first time I get to know him and his background closely. Slowly I'm trying to understand and appreciate how great of a Legend and Influence he is in Uzbek Chess Scene.

Superbe interview. This is the first time i look at your channel and sincerely this is really good. So far everything i've heard about Rustam Kasimdzanov as always been extremely positive and when you listen to him talk the admiration just grow. I'm a chess addict ... but not lucky 🤥 enough to be a world champ. Anyway, merci beaucoup pour ce merveilleux interview and you can be sure that i'll at all the others to folllow ... Great question, good content. Thanks.

He seems to be a very nice and honest man, but I have a hard time recognizing him as a true worldchampion. Not his fault. He made very good use of the opportunity presented to him (12:06). Talking about luck (16:16); ask Gukesh in 2024 ;-) But when you're good, you kind of make your luck.
