Excellent choice. You won’t be disappointed. I installed the 6.4 tr6060, and you will definitely want the Holly motor mounts. They forward the engine about a full inch allowing plenty of room between the firewall and rear of motor. Plus our window wiper motor misses as well. Oddly enough, it also allows the stock atomic console to line up so close I’m modifying it to fit the shifter. Plus the QA-1 engine cross member really opened up room. Love your build man. Thanks for the videos🤘

Good choice. This thing isn't going to have traction control or ABS and it is not replaceable if you get a heavy foot and put it into a ditch. I have tried driving my Camaro with driver assist features turned off and even with only 455HP it will get away from you if you aren't very careful. 800 HP is great on a newer car when you can just dump the clutch and the car will save you if you get carried away and even if it doesn't the air bags will save your life and the car can be replaced.

@malcolmhamilton52002 жыл бұрын
Congrats! Made the wisest choice for the best reasons. You simply CANNOT daily drive a genuine 426 Hemi in modern traffic and conditions anymore. Heck, shortly after the last one rolled off the line their required fuel started disappearing all across North America. And that was "IF" you could find an insurance company who would insure one. Everybody knew what a Hemi was and that you were going hunting for lesser cars(all) on the street with it. Your combo will be plenty quick, driveable, even reliable and easier to get parts across the nation for. EFI compared to ancient dual Carter 4bbls? You might triple the cruising mileage with that six speed. Anyone whose driven a muscle car with 4:10 gears between two cities is begging for an overdrive gear as you literally watch your fuel gauge going down as you drive along, going deaf and watching modern cars whizzing by in their overdrives. You ain't numbers matching and you saved this B-body from certain death. It's yours to do with as you like. I think you made a great choice. True it's the second gen Hemi powering literally ten thousand horsepower top fuel dragsters and no other engine from any other manufacturer will ever have those power figures.....those are stadium shaking monsters. You don't want a hangar queen draining your 401k. You chose right. Malcolm Ottawa Valley

right now would be the optimal time to figure out what for exhaust you want to run on your car cuz you could take and try it on the downpipe right now before taking it off the skid tearing it down and wondering what it's going to sound like on the car after everything's in you can put it all together and try it out on the skid start it up see what it sounds like
