I have been using old unwearable sweaters for crafting for years. It’s amazing what you can come up with when you’re young with limited funds. Those things I made 30 years ago are still used today.

What a great idea, taking an old cardigan sweater and transforming it into a beautiful cable knit stocking. I have so many old sweaters and seeing how pricey those sweater stockings are, now I can make my own! Also, on the soldiers, to get a deeper more burnished golden look you could spray paint them black first and then the rub and buff.

I didn’t even know my style is rustic glam. Seriously I can never know what to tell people of how I love my decor and not just for Christmas. I have one of the green Xmas tree from the dollar tree. Instead of mercury glass I will do a green uranium glass which you will definitely have to light up since that is the impressive part of uranium glass is that it glows with a black light. Now my creative juices are flowing
