Anubhav sir, I came across your video for the first time during the Corona period,where you were relishing Shikar bhaat ( Pahadi mutton curry) in a roadside shack in Uttarakhand . Thereafter, I have been occassionally watching your videos shot in various parts of our country including Nepal,where you are seen enjoying different kinds of cuisines. Iam glad that, you paid a visit to our state including our district to taste our local cuisines. The way you interact with your hosts and the local community members is very appreciable. Thank you so much for sharing. Apart from the food culture,I came to know about the attire. The hair clip is beautiful. The beauty is the handcrafted bag. The story of the mala ( beaded necklace) is amazing. It says the tribe needs to buy water to enter heaven . The mala ensures that one can buy water in heaven . Besides , it keeps away from evil . A kind of evil protection. They were wearing , coin shoulder jewellery which is wedding jewellery. It is striking. In Nepalese culture the same design beaded shoulder jewellery is given to the bride. The difference is these are made of beads and in this culture these are made of coins. I have seen gold with different designs in the same style of shoulder jewellery to the Thai brides. The skeleton of animal heads for worship, this is amazing. They wear similar types of two pieces of clothing like the tribes from the Chittagong Hill Tracks. How , amazingly cultures are interconnected. Nature, Sun and Moon worship still exists in this part - this is new to me. The craft is beautiful and humble. I have noticed the beautiful co-existence of old times and modernity. One has animal heads up against the wall and the foam mattress ,modern crockery, bamboo made mugs , plastic mugs We have local coriander all over Bangladesh. Chicken soup is a kind of broth . And your appreciation of the village and community are so beautiful. It must have been a true candle -light dinner. I have never seen such a water drain system. Ek baat note kiya arunachali logon ka Hindi bolne ka tareeka Assamese logon se bahut milta julta hai,😊 lekin arunachal mein assam se jada hindi bola jata hai. Assamese word=tenga/ Hindi= khattapan, Assamese word= juwai/ Hindi= damad, jamai, Assamese word=buri/ Hindi= buddhi(aurat), Assamese word=phuta/ Hindi= ched ( jaise kaan ka ched) . Only in places like NE India you can find people from North India spreading their beliefs like this. These were the people who taught the indigenous tribes that their ways of living and cousines are not good. That's how many indigenous communities got mixed with the Northern Indian religious beliefs. Shaming was one of the major ways to do that. Btw, the people who lived in these terrains of the Himalayas were called Kirats in the ancient Northern Indian texts. Kirats were the earliest inhabitants of this region. Please read your history and don't think that Chinese came to live here and that's how people from NE India originated.
