Some comments are really idiotic … they say this is South American design and not Moroccan ! Go learn history and read about your history , there’s no South American design native South Americans have nothing to do with Spain , Morocco ruled Spain for centuries before South America was discovered all south of Spain architecture is a copy of imperial Moroccan cities like Marrakech , Rabat , Fez, Mekens… that’s why the Spanish when they conquer South America they brought the moorish architecture with them, that easy … Thank you for the lovely video . Ignorance is the new norm.

The Moors entered Spain in the 14th century. Prior to the Moor invasion, the Romans and the bisigoths invaded Spain. However, the Moors did not invade northern Spain because the northern terrain made it impossible for the Moors to conquer this area. South America was conquered by the Spaniards sent by the Catholic king and queen of Spain. The Catholic king and queen were from the northern region of Spain, Castilla y Leon. As mentioned before, the Moors did not enter the northern region of Spain, therefore they were not influenced by the Moroccan architecture. What is called Moroccan architecture originated from Islam architecture seen throughout the Middle East. What is seen throughout South America is actually Borroc architecture. Borroc architecture was the "style" of that era. The Romans brought to Spain the cobble stone streets, fountains, colored tiles, arches, indoor gardens, bridges and so on.

@@margiekhleif4865 plz get you a cup of lemonade and take it easy because you are talking non sense , making stuff up just to say it is not Moroccan architecture while the whole world knows it is , and I’m not gonna waste my time with someone who doesn’t know what they are talking about , the Moroccans crossed the Gibraltar straight to southern Spain in the 8th century and not the 14th , all history books talks about a 5 centuries of Moroccan dominance over southern Spain and it ended in 1492 which is the fifteenth century . It bothers you that we are talking about Moroccan architecture I personally don’t know why and I don’t know why you are so ignorant of history and trying hard to derail the conversation to wonderland especially when you talked about northern Spain when no one mentioned northern Spain . As I said I’m not gonna waste my time with someone who doesn’t know history . You have a problem with Morocco and that’s your personal problem . I don’t care at all about what you think or believe. I trust history books .

why giving credit to islamic countries? when the building is floridan and Spanish. this period is about giving it all to Muhammed.
@AmikaStudio

Morocco is indeed part of the Islamic world, as historically, Islam once ruled over one-third of the world's territories. This rich Islamic heritage is evident in Morocco's culture, architecture, and traditions.
@katepretty4394

For your info it's 100/100 Moroccan islamic design. Spain was under the Moroccan Empire for 800 years. Many imperial cities are built by Moroccans. About Florida. Morocco was many centuries before America and the first country who recognised the USA was Morocco.

@GlobalAgenda2024
@GlobalAgenda2024 Ай бұрын
In terms of what you say, you are correct. The inhabitants of Latin America, their architecture came from the Iberian Peninsula, which was home to North African Muslims for 8 centuries. Perhaps since the arrival of Europeans to Latin America is only 5 centuries...😊

Only Morocco (Moores) ruled Spain for about 700-800 years. All the great beautiful influence ( food, architecture, intellectually, beauty..etc). Now, Latin America, looks exactly how Spain would've looked if it wasn't for the Moores aka Moroccan influence. You're very welcome.
