When you pass over it you can see a sorta blotchy look that’s because your adding the pearls into clear you need to get what’s called (base maker) it’s a sorta opaque color that’s meant to have pigments added to it, it allowed the pearls to settle properly and align nicely so there’s no issues. It looks great but you could do base maker 2 coats then 3 coats of clear and it would looks awesome

Just a note, you can thin Rustoleum with Xylene also, I've used it with the Rustoleum Top Side Marine Paint. Cool, one angle is purple another it's root beer.

Unfortunately this is a solid pearl so it would make the white look dirty when not in the sun so you would want to use a similar color pearl in the white particle colorshift to get the best results. Thanks for watching

Over a purple it would do a lot like the black over in Orange you would probably get a lot of blotchiness because it's a solid Pearl but stay tuned maybe we will find out in a future episode thanks for watching

You have solid pearls and then you have Interference pearls which have all the same effects but they are a white particle based so they practically disappear until the light hits them regardless it's a interesting combination. Also you have to be careful with choosing a lighter base with a darker pearl because they look great when the light hits them but under normal light it can make the color appear blotchy or dirty.

Yeah actually the very next episode on Wednesday coming up is going to have a variation of rustoleum clear coat you might want to check that out before you buy any but long story short I would highly suggest getting 2K urethane clear acrylic clear is no good over Rust-Oleum even if it's made up by rustoleum it has a tendency to dry flat and has zero uv protection

Muted, whit bases tend to kill the depth of the color so it’ll probably look like a dingy white

Yes because it's a solid pearl and not white interference pearl you would see the fine specs over white which would give it a dirty appearance when not in direct sun so I would use a white particle colorshift over white to get a similar effect thanks for watching

White or silver pearl would look classy over both colors without making it too much or you could match the Pearl to each color red over red and white or white to give it a nice metallic sparkle thanks for watching
