Love this orange with the yellow gold pearl. Did an S10 in the late 90's just like this. I'd like to see Rustoleum's sunburst yellow with yellow gold pearl. That's my next paint job on my C10.

I love the fact you keep things budget friendly, yet show that you can get amazing results nonetheless. There’s nothing like a quality Rust Oleum paint job with 2k clear to bring in the DIY masses. If you want silver to pop really good I recommend using a white primer Nason makes a really good 2k one and then Nason multi-panel urethane clear works really good for a good shine or you can use Speedo coat 2K urethane clear if your looking for a budget friendly version thanks for watching

There are a few companies that do custom pearls in clear coat cans DNA paints is one of them and I think didspade just started doing it so yes it is possible I don't know the cost tho thanks for watching and subscribing 😎👍🔥

You should do some of the high impact colors from 69-70 mopars or the big bad amc colors from 70-71

That looks good, I see Rustoleum has 2 different orange shades in quarts if painting bigger area, Safety Orange and Kabota Orange. Question, would a silver silver pearl made the orange brighter? The gold definently gave it a gold tint. Good job.

Yeah with the silver you would probably get closer to a Miami sunset look but I always like the gold just because it gives it that almost candy like appearance

I really like how this turned out, and it's giving me ideas. I'm working on an older Porsche that had a color option for "continental orange" which isn't far off of this. The fun is that Porsche wants something like $350/qt for the paint, and since I got the car for free that's not in the budget. I'm heading down the route of Rustoleum Allis Chalmers orange, probably with a pearl in the clear coat to bring a little depth to the color.

Thanks for the content. By the way any clear that uses an activator to catalyse it is a 2k clear.

You wanna make sure it's a 2k urethane clear coat so it has some flexible properties to it some of the 1k clear coats use activator as well but they are acrylic based and are prone to shrink and have little to no UV protection just do your research speedokote makes a good budget clear thanks for watching

I am really looking for a way to get a metallic "root beer" or copper like paint for a bike I am working on. I have seen a few acrylic spray cans with copper colors or even the "hammered copper" But what can we spray over these types of paint, if anything? Love to hear your advice for a more "novice" option than fancy 3 stage kandies. I hate spaying tubes and pipes... and I know many spray metallic's are often watery and run easy... but need to get out of comfort zone somehow.

I'm about to paint my mini truck in the next few weeks this color. I can't find a quart/gallon of Rustoleum "Pure Orange" but is Rustoleum Safety Orange similar? Kubota? Nason? What would be a similar color that's CHEAP and sold by the quart/gallon? BTW We are SUPER FANS! You're awesome for sharing this affordable way to paint cars. Best color yet! Thank you brother!

Yes I've actually used Kubota orange before that's a great alternative to the real orange you should be good to go with that . The safety orange would be very close as well. The gold pearl really does most the effect in this one so a slight difference in shade of the base shouldnt really effect it much. How does this stand up to the elements? Ive spray bombed offroad vehicles, but the paint would fade and lose the gloss. Even happens with satin or flat paint.

It holds up the same as any other automotive paint would because even though the base is rustoleum the clear is still 2K clear so the weather never gets to the Rust-Oleum it's sealed underneath the clear coat the same as any other automotive base thanks for watching

Ford Mystichrome or RR. I think the darker RR would be harder than Mystichrome because how on earth you gonna rattle can a dark red like that? They sell color shifting pearls but Mystichrome requires a guy to come mix the paint, because it’s the pigment on money.
