Thanks Andrew, they are great engines. You can't crank continuosly but it should start by one good swing on the handle! It will fly out and get you otherwise, but don't let that put you off. Cheers, Phill.

Thank you, I put the fuel tank back on yesterday after painting and so the engine is finished. I have some wood to build a trolley so it should be out at rallys next month.

Thanks Dan, Just painted the exhaust and a first coat on the fuel tank. My mate Elliot has made me a brass fuel tank cap too so that will look good. Phill.

Just had a look at your LA, very nice engine and runs very well. I supose the only difference to the PB is that it's over head valve.

Thats Villiers engines for you! I've had quite a few small air cooled Villiers engines but have vowed "never again!" This one needed a mag rebuild, I discovered that when the coil failed at the first show. I rebuilt the mag with a new coil and condensor and she was off.... Petters, yeah good engines in general and usualy fitted with a WICO a impulse mag so they go first time if all is well.

Thanks mate! Did they export these to the USA? It looks quite similar to the INT LA to me. Many thanks, Phill.

~ Difficulty in starting is due to a breaking down coil. A new condensor and coil will be fitted soon ~

@steamwally I've never seen one over here. I have an INT LA, They have a similar shape but they have alot of differences. The LA is a little simpler design. My Nephew has a video of mine on his channel. Check him out, his user name is: RACER4560
