Last weekend my stepdad purchased a Lister Juniour, plus a pump, plus two smaller listers, all for 300 quid. He now has three identical smaller listers (no idea what they are) as he already owned one. Sadly one of the small listers has a number of bits missing. Probably wouldn;t be impossible to get it running again, but I think he wants to concentrate on the big Juniour (my god is that bloody thing heavy) and the two complete smaller listers. Gonna be a lot of restoration going on at my stepdads soon as I have a 1975 Honda PC50 and a 1980 Honda Camino to restore. Love these video's I'm gonna try to get my stepdad to watch ya channel as well.

Yeah she's my favourite engine to be honest. Always did start so well. When the big end went I didn't have the heart to scrap her. Took me 2 years to track down a doner engine. But she come right in the end.

Amazing starts like that , is Strumpshaw the place with the Organ that comes out of the ground? Had a few good holidays in Norfolk with the old Talbot camper

I think the last time I used gland packing I used the graphite stuff like a rope on a roll. thing I put couple of winds round and its squashes into place forming a good gland.
