Generator and alternator?

Both :)). It's just a parts car, I am only using the ragtop body. Someone attached an alternator to it in the past.. hackjob. Some years ago, bug parts here were impossible to find, so they adapted various parts from other cars.

I'm in Europe, Romania. You can easily find parts now, but 15 - 20 years ago was a different story. Back then, people used to patch up foreign cars with what they had. In this case, a Dacia 1300 alternator :).

The generator is probably disconnect from the electrical system and is just there to turn the fan.
