Rusty Lake Roots Secret Level - Elixir Creation Walkthrough.
Showing how to make the elixir requested by Mr. Crow.
To make elixir, you must create Egg and Glass.
(1) Egg = Chalk + Dust or Small Eggs; Chalk = Shell + Stone or Metal;
Shell = Water + Algea; Algea = Water + Plant; Plant = Water + Cloud; Cloud = Water + Air;
Metal = Fire + Stone;
Stone = Lava + Air; Lava = Earth + Fire;
Dust = Air + Earth;
Small Eggs = Algea + Earth.
(2)Glass = Fire + Sand; Sand = Air + Stone(refer to 1).

Kinda irritated that I didnt need any help through the entire game until the last puzzle which didnt provide any reasonable clues. The objects showed zero interaction with each other once completed, so it made it seem as though all you needed to do was use the four elements to create what you need. And chalk has nothing to do eggs so kind of felt cheated by the game on this last one. It would have made sense if other objects interacted, hinting that you needed to find the correct interaction to get an egg.

I hear that. Another thing I didn't understand was the puzzles in the wedding photo scene. How was I supposed to know that dot meant one, line meant two… etc?? Could have done with a couple of hints for that part :|

@@AlexGMason It was the level with the 10 sacrifices and sorting them. The hint, how to sort them, was shown, when the player did so making it obsolete.

Reminds me of those element fusion mobile games apps , such as Alchemy Classic and Doodle Alchemy. Playing those helped me a bit in this final level

There is another Easter egg / glitch in the secret level. After you make the elixir and purr it into his glass, get another elixir and keep purring it into his glass. Repeat is 10 times and the guy will become that weird eagle without you drinking the elixir. You won't beat the level tho coz you can't get the seed.

its not an eagle it's mr crow, you should totally play their other games, but im pretty sure that was a glitch

Wow, my guess on Mr Crows' human identity was right on the money. He suddenly became a lot more interesting, I always got this guide/mentor-vibe from him and now I know why. Can't wait to see how they are going to tackle Mr Owl's backstory after this.

Tacityoshi1234 Yes, it does make a lot of sense. This would explain why Dale specifically is sent to face the corrupted souls and why Mr Crow is so attached to him. And also in Theatre Mr Owl do state that Dale is reaching a higher state of being, possibly the same state that Mr Crow reached all those years ago. You could see Dale's journey as a second chance for his past self to ascend the same way Aldous did in the past.

Tacityoshi1234 I have no idea about Arles at all, but then again the games didn't really have an overarching story back then. Case 23 is when the games got a bit more of a narrative to then.
