By the way, way back in the beginning of season 3 Daisy says that the dead body found in the archives (Jurgen Leitner) was still a "john doe" and Elias laughed at that, and said he just remembered an old joke. At that point I recalled the Anatomy Class episode and I had that feeling you get when you see something you really shouldn't be seeing, or figure out some indormation you really shouldn't know. I'm a first time listener so I'm just waiting for the drop that Elias either knows or has something to do with the students, whom I'm almost certain are Stranger. And if not that then they are definitely some other kind of un-people

So I was just passing through the living room, listening to this on my Spotify. I paused it whilst I made my way to the kitchen... but then I could hear muffled circus music... My Mum had the radio on Absolute 80s. As I reached up to take off my headphones, I heard the end of an advert as the circus music started to fade. The advert ended with “...and nothing to worry the Russian government.” I froze for a moment, processing whether that was something I had actually heard, when the next song started. It was, of course, “Every breath you take,” one of my top ten most deceptively sinister songs of all time. I sit here and type as I listen to “I’ll be watching you,” spoken over and over. It is also being proceeded by “99 red balloons,” so that is also vaguely unnerving. ...Seriously, why a comment about Russia and circus music and that fucking song? Uggghhhh. I am not scared and don’t scare easily but I do feel a little put about by the coincidences. For the record, it’s Sunday 28th February 2021, taking place between 12:15pm and 1pm, middle-east UK. In the spirit of the statements and such.

Subject Rani’s statement is indeed… well, unnerving. Unable to dig any deeper into the case provoked major skepticism in me, especially considering how vague and simplified the original claim was. Though, if it wasn’t for the amount of similar incidents reported in similar time frames, I would have all confidence to completely dismiss the statement as a hoax. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Upon further investigation into other case files regarding similar “circus music”, I’ve opted to continue the search into subject Rani, though it’s deemed extremely difficult considering their sudden disappearance. It does make me wonder, however, how many of these statements get thrown under old boxes and shelves, much like this one. No matter how I try, I cant shake the feeling someone is trying to slow my research. I suppose it doesn’t matter. I’ll continue my investigation into similar cases. End recording.

I think the Hunt is fairly agnostic. It appeals to whoever has the desire to hunt, to stalk, and to best. Whether that's a wolfman attacking hikers or a couple of monter hunters, it's all the Hunt. I imagine if someone had a large enough desire to hunt and kill those associated with the Eye, the Hunt would be equally as willing to lend its fangs

Yeah, I think it always was Elias though. He is a part of the Beholding, sure, but it is him listening. Proof? Episode 101. Nicola was talking to the recorder as if she were talking to Elias. Further proof? She said she knew Elias couldn't see Jon, and that's why she described the scene to him. Which is how recordings work. Of course it could just be referring to the fact they were somewhere where Elias couldn't find them, and she could be recording that tape for the future Elias to find it after they'd killed Jon... That is a possibility. To me though it sounded very deliberate, like they were trying to hint at the way Elias' powers work.

Jon trying to get a statement is quite interesting to me, we can hear him being worn down and getting sick again, and obviously the situation doesn't help at all. And Julia giving that statement helped him a lot. Also, Trevor interrupting Julia's speech? He's being compelled to talk (is that the right word?) too, and that makes me wonder if Jon did that voluntarily or not, or if it was Trevor's decision to step in?

IMO the most likely explanation is that he's chased down so many false leads that he's gotten experience will all sorts of shady types, which would include human trafficking rings etc.

It means he knows what it looks like when someone is trying to dispose of a body. Also, all avatars seem to have a supernatural sense of how to locate "prey." Their patron guides them subconsciously to seek out people and places with the appropriate fear associated to feed on. The Hunt is the most overt in having its avatars seek out victims, but _all_ are compelled to do it eventually.

My theory from this episode and what we know so far: So, Julia and Trevor have been hunting monsters for 7 years. I don't remember how long ago that statement of the funeral home's worker about the care home was, but since Trevor was hunting alone until he met Julia, I'm guessing it was them two who burned that place up at that statement. There have been some hints in this episode that both Julia and Trevor are part of an entity just like John is part of the Eye; like, how Trevor said that he hunts monsters and in return he doesn't have lung cancer anymore, or how Julia felt when she was killing that guy that was working for the Dark. Unfortunately I've been spoiled already by this episode's comments sections, mentioning that they are part of the Hunt, which makes sense though since they're hunters, and that werewolf that even Trevor mentioned is probably also part of the Hunt (there was a statement about a werewolf somewhere in America before too). The fake policeman is indeed part of the Stranger, and is basically the same kind of creature as those medical anatomy students, so they were part of the Stranger as well. Finally, the last part of this episode about the taperecorder, when the policeman said even he doesn't know what is listening in, that made my theory that the tape recorders aren't just the Eye's part even more likely. I mean, if it was indeed only the Eye listening in, then the policeman would have known already it was the Eye, right? But, him not knowing, it makes me believe even more that Gertrude isn't fully gone from this word, but because of her time working as part of the Eye her spirit was a part of it even after her death and she continues on living and listening to through the tape recorders. Also, Gerard isn't dead. There are many possibilities about it that I can think of, and I don't remember if I wrote it in the previous episode where we heard John telling what he learned about Gertrude and Gerard's visit in the hospital where he died, but I sincerely believe that Gerard isn't dead because he was spiritually "tied" with a Leitner book, just like his mom was, that allowed him to stay in the mortal world even after his death, and it could also be the exact same Leitner book and ritual that his mother, Mary, used to stay on the mortal world too.

Yeah, I get it Julia! I love "fake horror" like this podcast. The real deal breaks my heart though. Worst of all are the _unsolved cases._ We don't even get the relief of knowing the bad guy is caught. I think Julia is partially right. Now I understand. I am loving these 2 so far XD, the dynamic between them is so fun and charming. I am just hoping they don’t die in the next couple episodes… New character’s have a tendency to die right after we see them in this show sometimes. Also they are definitely apart of “The Hunt”, as other people mentioned in the comments. Trevor definitely became an Avatar which I am certain is why his lung cancer hasn’t killed him yet, I’m sure it’s a deal of some kind between him and “The hunt”, as long as he is hunting something he will not die of his illness. “The Hunt” is definitely one of my favorite entities so far, monsters, mythical creatures and lovecraftian horrors are some of my favorite things. So that makes me an automatic fan of this entity XD. I am very curious to see what role these two will play in the story… If they do end up living for a while at least.
