Rut Manufacturing Mini Excavator Disc Mulcher On A John Deere 35 C

So I really like this Mini Excavator Disc Mulcher I got from Rut. Ive got 50 or so hours on it so far and I really like it. Ive ordered quadco teeth from Rut and they have been reasonably priced and they shipped them to me really fast. Its running on a John Deere 35 c Excavator with 17 gallons a minute of hydraulic flow.

What a Monster! Zac, I think you need a Plexiglas windshield on your rig!!!!! That attachment throws some serious "shrapnel" .

I ended up putting some bullet proof glass in the front of it.

When ever I have the issue with couplers holding pressure I tap on the ends with a hammer and put a rag over it so I don't get sprayed. You seem like your really enjoying all of this. Great video

Questions for any of the experts out there. Thinking of getting this mulcher for my Kubota U35-4 that has a cab. First question is, will my machine handle this attachment ok? Second question of I don't think the cab is forestry grade though. Does anyone think I need to upgrade the glass? I plan to use the mulcher for trimming low hanging limbs and around the pond. Not really any big forestry stuff. Thanks for any input.

Turn your key on, don’t start it! Arm rest down. Cycle the auxiliary circuit. Sometimes the attachment heats up, and pressures the couplers. Cheers!

I know videos of work with machinery can get boring which during the edit these videos are sped up to keep interest, but you sped up all the actual work. I would suggest you have at least a few minutes that are at normal speed so the viewer can see how it works in real time. Btw, I have the brush eliminator with a Kubota KX040 and was wanting to see how the tree slayer worked in comparison. Thx

Hey there. What is the glow on that machine. I have a kx033-4 and was wondering how it would perform compared to yours with this. Have u tried the blade attachment yet? Did that cost extra. Sorry for all the questions just really interested in this for the price compared to other units.

its a got 18 gpm, I would thing they can build one for your machine. When you order it I would recommend calling and talking to them. I called up and the owner answered the phone. He said they set it up for what ever flow your machine has. Ive called up and ordered teeth a couple times and they have been really helpful. I haven't tried the blades yet, It was like 300 bucks extra.

Get a forestry enclosure put on that thing before you tear yourself up or worse!!

Any idea acres per hr with that mulching setup? Figuring moderate sapling growth....

I would guess its in the half to one acre a day range depending on how thick. I just did about an acre in a day of scrub and honeysuckle but I was being careful to not harm any native trees and it was really hilly. Those fence rows I did a half mile in three days of really heavy brush and some hopping off to use a chainsaw on the big stuff.
