Their interactions were usually friendly and respectful. The only confrontation they had was when Mark found out Grant had been blackmailing Ruth and also knew about his HIV. Grant apologized and promised not to tell anyone. That's why Ruth is having a go at him here because she thought that Grant told everyone.
