Always enjoyed your chatty makeup routines 😄. I on the other hand used to love wearing makeup to work , but now have stopped completely because I have to wear an ffp2 mask every day at work , so there is no point 😕 . And here I am still watching and enjoying makeup videos wondering when that day will come back 🙈😄.

I like the Charlotte tilbury light wonder foundation but I can’t always get my colour in Australia so I went back to the new formulation of mac face and body, it’s more radiant than before and really like the new Essence pretty natural hydrating foundation.

Lovely makeup look! :) About the cushion foundations - I want to recommend the Dior Dream Skin cushion SPF 50. It's my go to cushion foundation for the summer. It's brilliant! I'm not sure if it's available in the UK though. xoxo

Cushions are definitely still a thing, especially in Asia where they're extremely popular. The Lancome one was great and it's too bad they discontinued it (probably still exists in Asia). But Dior and YSL make a few really lovely ones available internationally. I adore this look on you Ruth! It looks so fresh and spring-y 🌸💖 and as always I really do enjoy how you do your base. It always looks very clean and skinlike. The new Chanel Les Beiges foundation really needs to get in my collection asap. Been eyeing it since release 😁

I think the K Brands still do a lot of cushion foundations. I miss them too. Very nice formula and it sat nicely on my drier skin.

Lol I'm so used to female YT recently talking slowly (and sort of dumb) and not relevant to the video that I had a YT set at x1.5 speed, and now being exposed to someone talking normally I was thinking (my goodness she's sounding weird, and then I remembered I'd changed the playback speed lol) ...nice to set it back to normal again. The makeup look looks very nice, super glowy (but not oily/overdone/fake, which some people tend to do). For me this looks better for summer than spring, but who cares, it looks nice and may is sort of that ini between month.
