Rutherford beach

Always wondered what it is like to actually take our R-Pod and camp at a beach. Well, we did just that at Rutherford Beach in Louisiana. It was an experience!

I have never seen anyone use a drone to fish. Very interesting. The beach looks like a cool place to camp. Lovely seaside photographs. Thank you for sharing. Peace and Safe Travels

That drone fishing is next level for sure. I am still debating going because I hear the mosquitoes are menacing at night.

So sorry I just came across your comment, yes, the mosquitoes can be bad because they're swamps but if the winds blowing you'll be all right.

The drones are cool but certainly not needed to target red drum. I guide off Rutherford, no drone, and catch 90% of my Red drum 50 yards from the beach. I’ve even caught them as close as 30 feet. So far since mid Nov we’ve caught 100 red drum.
