Yeah. I watch a number of bushcraft and expert-level camping channels that depict camping from a very advanced view, canoeing through very remote Canadian lakes for a week and such, but Steve presents camping in a way that is more likely what the average guy will experience. Steve, I love how you are so diligent in picking up other people's trash. That's my biggest pet peeve. I'm a fisherman. I'm constantly picking up discarded fishing line. Thanks for your efforts and commitment to conservation

nobody cares bc the population is exploding meaning being green is worthless. just another family that will have 200 dollar electric bills made from coal and they will buy a tesla thinking they are green. Really no point to doing it if more and more people grow and aren't interested in sustainable ways of life. I quit going out of my way, doesn't even save much money compared to the 3 million dollar house that makes my property taxes higher. Steve and Beautiful Wife, thank you so much for sharing your adventures with us! I’m a recent subscriber with a long history of rough car camping. I know you're not going to see this, but as counterintuitive as it seems when you're putting down a footprint/tarp under your tent you want it to be a little bit smaller than the tent so it doesnt stick out at all. That will prevent rain water from building up on top of the tarp

Nothin like setting up camp before a storm rolls in. One of my favorite things to do out here in the Sonoran desert when the thunder starts to roll.

As a fellow Steve myself my wife and i just discovered your channel a couple weeks ago and have been binge watching your episodes. This campground is incredible!!! We live in Abbotsford BC and frequently visit the island as we love it over there. I would love to know where this campground is because we would love to camp there ourselves. We love every episode but i think my favorites are the raft camping episodes 👌 all these episodes are making us plan to camp this winter again. Keep up the amazing work!!! Your doing an amazing job livng and epic life!!!!

I love it, it's technically a back yard gazebo and has no floor, but there's no snakes to worry about here.

"Hey beautiful wife, heard there's a heck of a storm coming in. What say you and I take the pop up gazebo and hit the bakery store before heading to the tsunami beach to hunker down in our leg sleeves and ride this thing out? You know, that beach below the 100 degree clear cut area we spent our honeymoon at? Yeah that one! Some surfers in wetsuits will think us crazy." Don't ever change Steve. Living vicariously!

Can't beat the sound of wind and rain on a tent, and no shortage of either here in the UK. I must get over to Canada one day and try camping out in one of your winters.

Love this video. Reminds me of one of my camp trips. My wife and I went camping 7 years ago on the Oregon coast in our tear drop. We brought a gazelle gazebo only 3 panels we huddled in it for 2 days with rain had plenty of step 2s. we tied it down with 2 gallon buckets full of concrete had to throw a tarp over the top had the same table and a buddy heater. 3rd night we woke to strong winds and had to take down the gazebo in the middle of the night. We still say despite the weather it was the best trip ever. We take our gazebo on every camp trip since.

Hey Steve, thanks for posting one from the Wet Coast. I think I remember that storm. Power went out for 4 hours. Had to hunker down with the wood stove going, a large bottle of Step 2 vino, and CBC on the radio. Would camp in a tent in that any time, though.
