RUTLAND REBORN: Chasing "Rutland" 405 Over the Green Mountain! FLSW, CPKC Trains and More

In this video, I'm heading down to Rutland with ‪@CSX3194‬ for the Trains Magazine photo charter over the Green Mountain, Vermont Rail System. GMRC Alco RS1 #405 led the train, with temporary Rutland lettering.
On the way down we caught CPKC 928 and Clarendon & Pittsford' Florence Switcher, and returning we caught CPKC 528.

Great work Harrison! Wonderful shot of not just the train but the train in the context of its surroundings. Beautiful country up there, without a doubt. I'm really impressed with tha old RS-1! It looks great with that classic Rutland paint scheme and it was nice to see F. Nelson Blount's name on the cab, it's good he's still remembered in those parts. 405's really got some get-up-and-go too and I like the way the crew played to the gallery by stopping on the bridge for a formal portrait. Thanks as always for bringing us along! v

I loved this video. The RS-1 reminded me of riding the LIRR a looong time ago. I was really happy to see the loads of black exhaust. Honorary steam engine! Keep up the great work.

The comedy in this video was "goober comedy!" The statement "the foam is real" and the "statement on the chase?" You guys are such goobers! I am crying/laughing at yall! It's great to see yall having such a great time! You really have some nice shots! I had a couple that i thought would be great! The summit shot and the return trip back past the chester depot. Some very nice shots - don't know how long they'll keep her but 405 still looks pretty good. Great shot of that KCS with all those tanks. Track looks a bit rough at Summit !
