This Lychee Agar-agar Jelly is very refreshing and simple to do.

Ingredients:
1 can lychee, 565 grams (16 lychees) 荔枝 1个罐头,565克(16粒)
10 grams agar-agar powder 燕菜粉 10克

200 grams sugar 细沙糖 200克
120ml lychee water 荔枝糖水 120毫升
680 ml water (room temperature) 水,室温度 680毫升
200 ml soya milk (unsweetened) (room temperature) 豆浆(无糖),室温度 200毫升

I just made your recipe. Looks great. To remove the bubbles try using a blow torch. Like a crème brûlée blow torch.

Ruyi jelly, ada beza ke antara serbuk jelly dengan gelatin bila buat puding laici ni ? Kalau digantikan gelatin kepada jelly berapa gram saya perlu letak ?

Helo, ada beza, gelatin ambil masa lama untuk set. Serbuk jelly cepat. Texture lebih kenyal/springy. Jika guna gelatin, I tak pasti maaf ya.

I can't get agar agar powder where I live can I substitute with Gelatine powder

yes but you need to follow the ratio of gelatine powder to liquid. Also it will take longer to set

I’m so sad. I just made this and even though I waited for 10 mins for the layer with the lychees to set and thought it had set enough, clearly I was wrong cos when I poured in the soy milk mixture, it broke thru the clear layer plus the lychees started floating around! 😭😭😭

Oh my, feel so sorry that it didn't work out. You can wait slightly longer until you feel a firm layer.

@@ruyijellyI find this is the hardest part because when is firm too firm? Since you always say we can’t wait too long otherwise the layers won’t stick to each other…
