If you simply hook up your trailer to your tow vehicle and then put down the stabilizer jacks, you do not need all the jack stands to make this swap. If properly hooked up at the hitch, then the trailer is not going anywhere as you make this swap of tongue jacks. Your choice of using a sand pad or the wheel at the bottom of the tongue jack. Mine said there is no need to scrape off any paint, so no need to use starred washers to make any contact, either. Mine had a fuse already on the wiring, but it is dark outside and I don't recall what fuse was used. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for the video. I bought a similar electric jack for my horse trailer. I've already remover the old jack and installed the new one. When it gets to hooking up the power to it my instructions say, "Install the fuse holder as close as possible to the positive terminal of the power source, by either crimping or soldering the connections." Well it didn't come with a fuse holder or fuse. What amp fuse did you use?

This was very quick and even watching it several times did not make anything clear. "if available"...well what is it in the first place and where would it be? Please redo this video and remember beginners are watching. Thanks

Maybe you just don't understand or know the parts he is referring too. He said either to the battery OR ALTERNATIVELY to the break away terminal. Which means sometime you only have access to one or the other!

I've watched 3 different videos on installation, everything is fairly simple but mine didn't come with the fuse holder already installed, nothing I've read or watched tells me how to integrate the inline fuse fuse holder . None of the factory ends on the fuse holder have anything to attach the wires to. Any suggestions on how to accomplish this with paying a fortune to have it done. All I need is to see how it's done or better instructions on how to accomplish the wiring connections.
